Can’t wait!

2 weeks until one of the most exciting days of our career. On October 4th we will release our sixth studio album Trollslayer and we will play the first show of the biggest tour we have joined so far. This better be in the history books.

Spending the rest of this weekend at a dungeon synth show and reflecting on this week’s broadcast. No technical difficulties, no issues, we had a rocking chatroom and the setlist was very reflective of our run so far on Metal Devastation Radio! In a way I’m actually feeling renewed interest in this show instead of dreading technical issues. It’s an amazing feeling. Beards and Broadswords is reinvigorated and will be here next Saturday to slay your speakers!

In case you’re wondering why your post doesn’t reach people… it’s because the algorithm isn’t established by any means actual human. Nobody in Studio A listens to Counting Crows and all this nonsense does is encourages those AI posts you’re starting to see everywhere on this platform.

You may have noticed all the tech issues I’ve had today and the cutting another show short in the span of a month due to it. In the middle of my anniversary show no less. So this serves as the official announcement that I’m replacing my DJ program for good and will never use SAM Pro ever again for anything. Waste of money. Beards and Broadswords cannot grow if we can’t even broadcast a full show without tech issues.

As this is no longer fun for me I’m taking a few weeks off and retooling a few things before I give this another shot. See you all soon!

Update!

Hey everybody

As you've maybe already heard - Annie and Eluveitie are already parting ways again unfortunately. What began very exciting developed in different directions up to a point where the band’s priorities were not anymore compatible with Annie‘s.

That being said we part ways amicably and look back on this short time we spent together with a lot of thankfulness.

We wish Annie and her family the best of luck and the very best also for her musical journeys!

Of course this does not mean that Eluveitie will continue without hurdy gurdy! In the future hurdy duties will be shared by our own Matteo and Sophie additionally.
