The Anime Chronicle was formed by Jeremy Graves and Hugo Jackson in September of 2009. The concept was to give people from around the world discussion the world of Japanese culture (more specifically Japanese Anime) while at the same providing reviews of Anime related products that are available to the UK (such as DVDs and music CDs) along with interviews from various personalties involved in the
industry. Since our debut audio podcast in October or 2009, we've quickly become widely known in the Anime community, not just in the United Kingdom, but around the world! With many of our international listeners residing in the USA, Canada, South America, Australia, Japan and many European countries. Although we mainly producing audio shows, we're currently in the final phases of creating an outlet for written content to be available to visitors of the site. A feature we know will be very popular with our every growing listeners of the audio show. We've have very good working relationships with the UK Anime Network (One of the UK's top websites for UK based Japanese culture) and Manga Entertainment UK (the UK's largest distributor of Japanese Anime DVDs in the UK.) We recently conducted an interview with voice actors Yuri Lowenthal & Tara Platt, two voice actors based in the USA with a wealth of experience to their names. The interview has garnered popular reviews from various online sources. Since then we've launched a blog, where we post news, reviews, transcripts (and who knows what else in the future) which helps us stay connected to all our listeners, and at the same time, helps raise our profile as well. In February of 2011 we're relaunching the 'brand' of The Anime Chronicle. We've got a lot of great things planned and lineup, so watch this space!
