5 reasons I love for family trips
1. It’s relatively undiscovered. It isn’t chaotic and overrun like many other Mexico destinations. Getting excursions and dinner reservations is simple and you will likely get to try everything you want.
2. The resorts are beautiful and the service is great. The resorts will have lots of family activities so if you want to stay at the hotel the entire visit, you can. We have stayed on three large properties in Punta Mita, the latest being
3. There is a really cute small town of Punta de Mita that you can visit outside of the resorts. It has great restaurants, little shops and local vendors.
4. There are many activities for active families, like hiking, zip lining, surfing, 4-wheeling and so much more. Our kids are older and they crave adventure, and Punta de Mita hits the spot!
5. You are on the beautiful shorelines of Mexico, but are close to the jungle tree lines as well, giving you the best of both worlds.

🌸The perfect shade of pink ladies and gents🌸 I’m drawn to interesting and uncommon details in fashion. I find myself reaching for this dress for almost every beachy trip because the fabric is a beautiful color, it’s surprisingly flowy and the back is really sexy. There is something about an open back dress that I find to be very alluring. For me, going to dinner on vacation is an opportunity for people watching. Families, friends, and couples all gathered together from different states and stages of life and I’m always curious about what people are wearing. Everyone is sun kissed (or sun-punched 🤣) and relaxed. This piece is one of my all time favorites because it’s bold, it’s fashion, and I feel amazing in it.

Vacay Mode Activated:👙☀️🏝️🥥🍹🕶️🚤. Life has been chaotic, but in the best of ways- the girls are slammed with 🎾 6 days a week, free time has been homeschool catch-up time, and now we get them all to ourselves! The girls have inherited our love of travel and adventure, so getting them onboard to pack and escape is a breeze. Surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, we are here for all of it. Dan and I put a lot of thought into destinations, excursions, restaurants, etc because we want to ensure optimal fam time ✨ time is a thief, so we are savoring these moments as much as we can.

Monochromatic looks are chic and that’s all there is to it! I like sharing designers and pieces that I actually own and love. I picked because I buy pieces season after season and they’ve withstood the test of time and change of trends! I can do VB in the office, for date night, or just a casual day. Off-white is timeless- the texture of the sweater and flattering cut of the denim sold me 🛍️ each piece can be worked into a ton of other outfits in several seasons. Would you wear this look? ✍️👇

…and I go back to black- the ultimate neutral 🖤 I’m coming off the pink and red highs of Valentine’s Day and into something a little bit more my language. Here are the Valentino shorts and boots from my latest reel out in the wild. These two closet staples can be worn 3 out of the 4 seasons of the year here in Dallas- and that’s a smart purchase in my book. Love languages matter❣️Understand your partner’s love language and don’t forget to speak it♥️ Time. Touch. Words of Affirmation. Gifts. Acts of Service. Dan’s love language is acts of service- so anytime I do things to make his life easier it makes him feel special. For example: I get his car washed and detailed when he goes out of town because he doesn’t have time to do it, but loves having a clean 🚘
Acts like this show him I love him through actions- he’s grateful and reciprocates🌹 My love language is time 🥰 Time is our most precious commodity- we can’t buy it, make more of it, and it feels like we can never get enough of it. My time with Dan is special and he consciously makes time for us so that we can be together as a couple and as a family ❤️
