How do you feel about spirit photography? Technology has come a long way since the early days of photographs, and we have seen our fair share of fakes over the years, but the history of the whole phenomenon is quite interesting.

Our Goals and Our Story

West Gate Paranormal Research is based in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. We have been investigating locally and in other parts of the country since 1995. I was among a group that was the first to be invited to investigate the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum in St. Augustine in 2001, and currently I (Aeryck/Founder) work as a part time paranormal tour guide in St. Augustine as well.

Our team has experience in paranormal investigations ranging from a purely scientific endeavor, to sensitives and mediums, and specialize in finding the root causes of activity in homes, businesses, and locations. We use as many outlets as needed or necessary to help us in our research and investigations, including historic research, continual training, demonology, and technology.

Before proceeding upon any investigation, we seek to find plausible reasons for the activity that is occurring at each location through interviewing the people involved, as well as ruling out any natural or electrical phenomenon that may be influencing the location. Each case is unique and we treat each case as confidential and respect the privacy of each person involved.

Do you have a strange occurrence at your house? Would you like our help? We look forward to hearing from you and offering our assistance in any way that we can. We are not “ghost busters”, but we do have training and experience in a wide range of techniques and methods, including those cases that require a unique approach when it includes such things as negative entities and infestations or oppressive cases. While those cases are extremely rare, we do realize and understand that they exist, and we are here to help.
