Stop associating us, ESN to Simon Ekpa – IPOB warns Enugu Govt

We do not know why they politicians and main stream media are still associating IPOB with the activities of Simon Ekpa after some many years of IPOB setting the records staright.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has warned the Enugu State government against linking the Eastern Security Network, ESN, to self-acclaimed Biafra Prime Minister, Simon Ekpa.

Recall that Enugu state government made a statement that Police killed 27 ESN kidnapping gang members loyal to Simon Ekpa within two weeks at various location in the state but IPOB through its spokesman described they report as false.

However, Emma Powerful said the “criminal gang leader in Finland” has no relationship with ESN from formation to date, or with IPOB.
Hence, the public should stop associating ESN or IPOB to such criminals. He describe the claim as a cheap propaganda against ESN and IPOB.

He went further to say that they Nigerian Police and Enugu Government said that some of the neutralized criminals are pro-Biafra agitators loyal to the Finland based double agent. Then why did they turn around and associate these criminals with the noble IPOB family?

But in the usual malicious intent of the Nigerian governmental bodies ways, the police claimed that the so-called neutralized criminals were ESN Operatives loyal to Autopilot IPOB.

IPOB has maintained that there is nothing like Autopilot in IPOB. They should stop the unnecessary blackmail against IPOB and call the criminals by their name. Already, the criminals captured said where they belong, and it is not with the IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN).

We are warning the Enugu State Governor’s Media office to desist from linking ESN and IPOB to the self acclaimed Autopilot leader, a double agent in Finland, and his criminals in Enugu, and anywhere else in Biafra land.” he concluded.

It is so worrisome that after the southeast governors met and issued a statement to meet the president for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's release, they are yet to walk the talk.

It is clear they are not sincere in their promise to get Nnamdi Kanu released because if they are. They would have aggressively pursued it than chicken out to engage President Tinubu.

We remembered that when Sundy Igboho was arrested, Yorubas united behind him until he was released.

Why can't our governors and politicians rise above personal gains and work for the interest of Igbo nation. Their interest, whatever it is, can not exceed the interest of the Igbo nation at large.

They South East governors should be reminded that the pride of Ndi Igbo is at stake in Nigeria if they continue to treat with levity the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu is a man God has given us for the general good of our people, born and unborn. Let’s come together as a people and pursue our common goal, more so the release of Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has committed no offense known to law, yet he has been in detention for over one thousand two hundred days.

People who have committed crimes against the Nigerian state, including Boko Haram members, have all been freed, rehabilitated, and integrated into society.

They governors should know that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,s only crime is to ask for justice, equity, and freedom of his people.

I am appealing to the conscience of the South East Governors. Politicians. Traditional rulers to rise up and genuinely push for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. So that we will know who is behind the insecurity in the South East.

After Seizing 3 Nigeria's Presidential Jets, Chinese firm confiscates Nigeria’s guest houses in UK, to sell for $2.2m

Zhongshang Fucheng Industrial Investment Ltd, the Chinese investment group involved in legal dispute with Nigeria over alleged contract breach by Ogun State government, have confisticated two residential structures belonging to Nigerian government in Liverpoll and are planning to list it for sale on global online marketplace eBay.

This is because they are trying to recover up to $70 million in arbitration awarded against Nigeria.

Zhongshang took possession of two buildings linked to the Nigerian government in Liverpool, United Kingdom, in June 2024, years after Nigeria failed to settle an arbitration judgement handed down in 2021, according to People’s Gazette.

The properties, 15, Aigburth Hall Road, Liverpool and Beech Lodge, 49, Calderstones Road, Liverpool, were targeted after a December 2021 British court order gave Zhongshang executives the power to seize Nigerian assets in the UK to retrieve the $70 million payment, which remained outstanding as of August 20, 2024, with two per cent monthly interest accruals.

Zhongshang was awarded $55,675,000 plus interest of $9,400,000 and costs of £2,864,445 as of the date of the arbitration verdict on March 26, 2021, court documents said. The case stemmed from a dispute between Zhongshang and Ogun State. The firm said the state violated a 2001 trade treaty between Nigeria and China when its rights to a free trade zone were rescinded in 2016.

Recall that the company sued Nigeria before the arbitration panel in the UK in 2018, alleging that Nigeria allowed its federal organs like the police, immigration and export processing authority to be deployed by Ogun State without due process.
Court documents said two Zhongshang executives were expelled from Nigeria between mid and late 2016 after one of them had allegedly been detained and tortured by the police.

Nigeria which had only recently escaped a similar arbitration decision that awarded over $11 billion to a consortium called P&ID, appears to be back in trouble with another foreign entity.

While the P&ID arbitration verdict was thrown out after it was later discovered that firm’s owners were involved in bribery and corruption, the Zhongshang case appeared different, with several European courts already granted enforcement orders in the UK, Belgium, France and other countries, where Nigerian-owned jets and other assets are being tracked down.

“Zhongshang promised to be transparent with the sale because of the keen public interest of Nigerians in the matter,” the consultant added.

The Nigerian labour Congress having seen that allegations is the Nigeria police regular trade mark aimed at blackmailing people into submission, they responded immediately.

FG SEEK OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENT WITH ONNOGHEN OVER REMOVAL AS CJN.

Recall that in April 2019, President Muhamadu Buhari (Northerner) breached the constitution of Nigeria by removing a sitting Chief justice of Nigeria Walter Samuel Onnoghen who is from the southern part of Nigeria just to appoint a northerner to replace him.

He used a three-member panel of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) led by his tool Danladi Umar, chairman of the tribunal at the time to do the hatchet job.

Danladi Umar convicted Onnoghen on six counts bordering on false assets declaration and ordered that he be removed from office without a fair hearing.

The move casts doubts about the commitment to the rule of law in Nigeria and the integrity of the upcoming elections on February 16. 2019 which President Buhari will be seeking reelection.

The hasty removal was perceived as a calculated attempt to gain some electoral advantage should an election petition between the president and the main opposition party end up in the Supreme Court, which finally happened. A move which wad swiftly condemned by Domestic and international observers.

NOTE: There are two ways that the CJN can be removed from office. First, the president can remove the CJN only after making a case for his removal to the senate and receiving the votes of two-thirds of its members.

Second, the National Judicial Council (NJC) can recommend the removal of the CJN to the president, at which point the president can remove him.

President Buhari neither addressed the senate nor received a two-thirds majority in favor of the CJN’s removal, nor did he receive a recommendation from the NJC that the CJN be removed.

Today, Federal government are seeking for out of court settlement because the outed CJN Onnoghen have challenged his unconstitutional kangaroo removal from office in the appeal court.

NIGERIA THREE PRESIDENTIAL JETS SIEZED BY A FRENCH COIRT.

The three presidential jets were seized by a French court due to a contract dispute between the Ogun State Government and a Chinese company, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited.

They dispute stems from a 2007 agreement for the development of a free trade zone, which later fell apart, leading to arbitration and ultimately the seizure of the jets.

Despite an independent arbitral tribunal awarding Zhongshan approximately $74.5 million, the Ogun State Government has disputed the decision and has not yet honoured the award.

Nigeria also embarrassing itself.

Update: Appeal Court: Nnamdi Kanu challenges Abuja High court rulling over trial jurisdiction.

The lead Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Bar. Alloy Ejimakor has filed a brief before the Appeal Court against the ruling of the Abuja Federal High Court over the jurisdiction to try Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In his initiation, Ejimakor raised objections to the jurisdiction of the Abuja Federal High Court to subject Kanu to trial.

Remember that Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja Federal High Court dismissed the objections to her jurisdiction on 19th June 2024.
Based on Justice Nyako’s ruling, Bar. Ejimakor had headed to the Court of Appeal to challenge the rulling.

Consequently, in the brief of argument filed on Friday, Ejimakor said: “Today, I filed a brief before the Court of Appeal raising objections to the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court to subject Nnamdi Kanu to trial.

“I raised six issues for the consideration of the Court Appeal and several prayers including halting Kanu’s trial and discharging him of all charges currently standing against him, releasing him from detention. We expect the court of appeal to entertain the objections based on the merits.

This is the Appellant’s Brief of Argument filed pursuant to the Notice of Appeal against the ruling that the Federal High Court (Abuja) delivered on the 19th day of June 2024 refusing the Appellant’s Preliminary Objection to the jurisdiction of the trial court.

“The Ruling, subject of the instant appeal is at Pages 413 – 415 of the Record of Appeal while the Notice of Appeal is at Pages 416 – 428 of the Record of Appeal. The Notice of Appeal bears 5 grounds from which the issues herein have been distilled. He stated.

Human Rights Lawyer Asks Tinubu To Immediately Release Detained IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Human rights lawyer and a former federal.law maker, Uche Onyeagucha, has joined the call asking President Bola Tinubu to immediately and unconditionally release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

FBI captures, extradites Nigerian sextortionists to U.S. over death of American.

The United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced that Imoleayo Samuel Aina, 26, and Samuel Olasunkanmi Abiodun, 24, were extradited from Nigeria to the United States to face charges associated to the sexual extortion and death of a young man in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Aina is charged with cyberstalking, interstate threat to injure reputation, and receiving proceeds of extortion. Both Aina and Abiodun are charged with wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy.

After being charged by complaint, Aina and Abiodun were arrested in Nigeria and taken into custody by the FBI on July 31,2024.

Me. No Nigeria media carry this news. If they are Igbo Biafrans now, every media outlet and social media will got agog with the news. They will not be called Nigerians only rather they will tell you their ethnicity.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu once said, revolution in Nigeria will start from the Northern part of Nigeria.

UK planned his kidnap, Kenya kidnapped and renditioned him Nigeria. Nigeria is trampling on his fundamental human rights and trying so hard keep him in detention in perpetuity.

Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, support his call for freedom of Biafra, so that chukwuokike Abiama will have mercy on you all. He is a prisoner of conscience.

He has committed no offense known to law. His only crime is asking for the freedom of his people (Biafra) through a United Nations supervised referendum.

Terrorists, bandits who killed, maimed and pillaged were released and recruited into the army and other security agencies but a political prisoner who have committed no offense known to law is been detained for 1,133 days with delays and trial moving back and front.

Recall that the court of appeal have discharged and acquitted him .The Federal government have not proved any charged brought against him in any court, so that started their kangaroo delay tactics.

Ohaneze and the governors should do the needful and save thir already battered faces.

I do not know why the media houses correspondent are not reporting truly why no protest in happening in South East.
I will tell you.

It is not because they are not expressing the same hardship as others in different part of Nigeria. It is not because their region ''leaders" asked them not to.

They are not protesting because, it will be tagged with a Biafra coloration and find reason to start killing them, just as theybdid during ''ENDSAR PROTEST".

They are not protesting because they have asked people who brought hardship(Tinubu) against their warnings to protest and correct it.

They are not protesting because they do not believe in Nigeria again not to talk of dying for it.

They are not protesting because they are on the ground already, so they have nothing to protest for about Nigeria outside Biafra protest.

They are not protesting because theybhave been talking about the reason Nigerian are protesting now over the years. Instead of other regions to join them then, they called them all sorts of names.

So tell me, are they not justified for not coming out to protest?
