Well, today on the podcast, you're in luck because we are having our another "Tea with V" episode with Victoria Boler, where you get to listen in on a conversation we had all about pre-assessment.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you think, "ah yes, this is PURE genius!" And then a few years go by and you're like... 🤦‍♀️

That was me a couple years ago when I thought it was a really good idea to take not one, but literally two, pictures of myself with actual labels on my forehead. Like, printed, peel the paper off the back, stick them where they belong kind of labels.

ON 👏 MY 👏 FOREHEAD.👏

Not my finest moment, but perhaps one of the more important points that I've ever made. So important, in fact, that I went ahead and re-recorded a "coffee with Anne's thoughts" type of episode to talk more about it.

Music teachers all face similar challenges, and we should never feel alone.

The Music Teacher Development Podcast Network is a network of podcasts with the common goal of providing support for music education in the form of audio on demand programming designed by, and for music educators.

We are a group of like-minded podcasters who have come together to create a source for high-qualty music education podcasts for all music educators. Each podcast remains independent but works within the network to promote and help each other reach more educators and provide interesting content in each episode.

The current podcasts affiliates are: “AMusEd” hosted Veronica Tonus, Olin Hannum, Susanna Peebles, and John Cargile “Anacrusic” with Anne Mileski “Everything Band” with Mark Connor “Source Material” hosted by Sean Smith

We are looking to add new affiliates are we move forward, including in the areas of choral, jazz, and orchestral music education. We want to have something for every music educator.
