Dave Prescott had a vi
sion when he founded Integra Optics. As a network engineer for a major cable company, he experienced the frustration of downtime caused by inferior optics and long wait times for replacements. He decided to start a company that could provide a responsive, reliable source of high-quality optical transceivers to help network engineers and managers be successful. Prescott’s vision was to create a new category of network solutions – engineered, coded and tested to outperform every other transceiver on the market. Integra Optics was founded in Albany, New York in 2007 and quickly became a leader in the telecommunications industry. Recognized for our innovative network solutions, product reliability, technical expertise and personalized customer service, the company is one of the fastest growing telecommunications companies on the INC 5000 list. Today, we’re an international organization with a total of 80 employees working in our Latham, NY, headquarters and in satellite locations across the United States, Canada and South America.
