Here we are, starting the official communications about the release that we will present on May 7 in Berlin and May 19 in Rome. Here is an introduction to our work and that of the artist Nadia D'Alessio, who has reinterpreted sounds and contents of the release through an engraving on zinc plates.
As usual you can buy the simple digital release or request one of the 20 limited works and together you will have the code to download the music.

Roots and identity as the starting point of a journey that wants to go far away, discovering new sounds and images, where to redraw the perimeter of the present outside the imposed reserves. "NeoMelodic Open Structures vol.2 " is a work in balance between musical tradition and sound experimentation, a constant questioning of the expressive potential of sound, of the instrument itself and of the different possibilities of organization of the compositional material. Seven tracks for prepared Double bass , tell the human and musical journey of Giuseppe Bottiglieri, from the sea of Torre Annunziata to the echoes of the "whales of Temphelhof", from the shadow of the "Vesuvien" to the decadence of Neukolln.
A world of uncompromising sounds that draw unreal and present landscapes, suspended between the concreteness of the sound objects created and the dystopia of imposed reality.
