Celebrating 300K subscribers on YouTube and (almost) 5 YEARS of full time travel 🎉❤️✈️

Sometimes I feel like I’m living in a fever dream of just amazingness and craziness 😅

Only now am I beginning to integrate fully everything that has happened over this action packed period and realizing just how special it really is ❤️

I feel like I’ve lived multiple lifetimes in so many places, met so many incredible people, learned about culture and history, eaten food I had never even heard of before, pushed myself mentally and physically further than I thought possible.

I’ve definitely come out the other side as a reborn version of myself that is much stronger, smarter, more confident and very intuitive compared to how I was before I started.

Even though I haven’t met the milestones that society may expect of me like getting a university degree, getting married or having kids, I feel very fulfilled in my life that I have lived it on my own terms. Every person has to decide for themselves what they feel their purpose is on this Earth and what truly sets their heart on fire ❤️

It’s YOUR LIFE, live it how YOU want to live it. Of course try your best to not hurt other people in the process, but I believe that being true to yourself is the greatest gift you can give to society because only then are you sharing yourself from a point of fulfilment and authenticity. You don’t NEED other people to accept you, because you’ve already accepted yourself.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in this incredible period of time ❤️ I’m only getting started 😉

Some places have the ability to bring out the best in you and some have the ability to bring out the worst 🌎

I can say without a doubt that traveling to Singapore (even for short trips) absolutely brings out the best in me and gives me hope for humanity 😅 a rarity these days!

Of course it’s a small country that is run differently than how a large one would have to be, but man is it ever inspiring 🇸🇬❤️

The glitz, luxury and futuristic designs of MBS and all of downtown are just one component of what this country has to offer, the more heartwarming part is actually the more local and multicultural side of things (which I’ll be posting about in the coming days) and how well everyone really works together to make this country such a beautiful, safe and peaceful haven.

Singapore may not be perfect… but it’s pretty close 😉

A month in Bali 🌺

Sometimes I don’t want to go on crazy adventures and see new things. I just want to be in a beautiful place that I feel comfortable in, eat some good food, exercise, take care of myself and chill.

Just like anything in life, if you over amplify one aspect of your life for too long, you begin to resent it and not appreciate it for how incredible it is.

That’s what I’ve realized about traveling full time is that moving non stop and constantly sightseeing is not at all sustainable. There’s only so much ‘newness’ that our minds and body can process at a time before it blurs all together and you’re just going through the motions, not appreciating what’s in front of you.

Bali has been a great reset to slow down and ask myself why I’m doing what I’m doing ❤️

“The journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step.” - Lao Tzu 🇨🇳

Lijiang was my last destination on my China expedition and what a perfect last choice it was. I couldn’t ask for a better way to end a month of eye opening exploration from the east to the west of the country ❤️

There are some places you really can’t properly understand until you actually visit there and for me, China js one of those countries.

Being home to over 1 billion people, it’s obviously EXTREMELY diverse. From its people, to its landscape, to its cities, to all the different cultures and beliefs that people hold, it is a layered tapestry of humanity.

I will definitely be back to China again in the future and for anyone who was curious but hesitant to go in the past, GO! You definitely won’t regret it 🙂

Exploring a new city is always better with a local 🇨🇳

When arriving to a mega city like Chongqing, it can definitely be intimidating to feel like WHERE do you even start? 😅

The two best tactics that I utilize in being a full time traveller is either watching other first hand experience on YouTube or (even better) asking a local! They always have the best suggestions of places worth checking out, what to avoid and how to make the most of your time.

I had an incredible day with Yuan from .info seeing so many different sides of the city and walking 20,000 steps in the process lol

It will be a few weeks at least before my Chongqing video is out on YouTube but if you are planning a trip to China anytime soon ABSOLUTELY put Chongqing on your trip itinerary! Out of this world city with so much to offer ❤️

My final video of Sri Lanka just went live on my channel about the stunning Galle Fort which brings the colonial era of Sri Lanka's history to life. It is a must visit destination in the country and in the video I give you a full tour of what you can expect when visiting.

I also just launched my Google Maps Travel Guide To Sri Lanka which is currently retailing for only $10 CAD / $7 USD on my website because it is a new style of map that I am trying out and doesn't have quite as many pins as my city travel guides.

As I explore the north of the country in coming years I will add to the map and anyone who purchases it now will have it be updated for free, while the update will cost new users a higher price ;)
