Hey Spokes! The 2024 WLUSA Wheelchair Lacrosse National Championships concluded at the Ozaukee Ice Center in Mequon, Wisc., with a series of exciting matches across both divisions. In the Division A championship game, the top-seeded Milwaukee Eagles secured a decisive 4-0 victory over the third-seeded Grand Rapids Frenzy. The Division B title went to the sixth-seeded Colorado Rolling Mammoth, who triumphed over the seventh-seeded New Hampshire Northeast Passage Wildcats with a score of 3-1.

The third-place games were equally thrilling. In Division A, Blue Team edged out the Indy Rip in a nail-biting overtime finish, clinching a 4-3 victory. Division B's third-place match saw the Houston Apollos overpower the Maryland Thunder in a high-scoring game that ended 6-4. (Photos by SNS Staff).

Athletes converged on Oak Mountain Lake in Pelham, Alabama for the Paratriathlon events, kicking off the day's competitions. Following the aquatic challenges, the focus shifted to the shooting and weightlifting events, rounding out another exciting day of adaptive sports. (Photos by SNS Staff).

Hey Spokes! Day 3 at the 2024 Hartford Nationals in Hoover, Alabama saw intense competition and record-breaking performances. Athletes pushed their limits on the track at Spain Park High School, with many achieving personal bests.

The morning's exertion was followed by a refreshing break, courtesy of Hoover Fire Department. Firefighters used their ladder truck to spray water, providing welcome relief from the heat.

While today's focus was on track events, the coming days promise more exciting action. Tomorrow's schedule features paratriathlon, shooting and weightlifting competitions.

But before the next round of events begins, athletes and spectators are looking forward to this evening's opening ceremonies, set to kick off the rest of the games. (Photos by SNS Staff)
