Scarlet was a pitbull who was in a shelter and suffering from some health issues. One day Gigi changed her destiny completely.

When Audra Spurio visited an animal shelter along with her child to select the dog she wanted for her Gigi (the daughter) picked Scarlet.

The moment the door of the cage had been opened, to take Scarlet out, the dog refused to leave, but Gigi was on the leash and waited for her dog to come out. They became friends and got to know each other well.

While commuting to work in the cold winter day, an individual across six newborn pups that were rotten inside the Alabama woods. The unprepared animals were left in a terrifying, deadly situation and were trying to stay warm by snuggling with one another.

The dolphin rescue involved the small cinnamon-brown terrier who was not noticed when he sank into the rough waters of a canal just off Marco Island, Florida. A group of dolphins spotted the little dog, he has been fighting to stay on the water.

Mother Nature slowly restored North Brother Island in New York City. Dense vegetation has now seeped into 25 of the island’s decrepit buildings. Some date back to 1880s. The Tuberculosis Pavilion is one of the many decaying structures found on the East River Island. This Pavilion was once home to the Typhoid Mary (an asymptomatic carrier) of Typhoid, who infected dozens while she worked as a cook. The island is now a bird sanctuary. Access to it requires special permission from New York City’s Parks Department.

The Love Canal neighborhood is located in Niagara Falls and serves as a reminder of the negative effects of human arrogance. In the 1920s, this area was used as a municipal dump. Later it became a disposal ground for industrial waste. The landfills were the site of many schools, homes, and apartments built in the 1950s. Residents began to suffer from undiagnosed diseases, miscarriages and cancers in the 1970s. This led to investigations into the toxicology of the landfills.

It doesn’t have to be abandoned. Some buildings are simple to reach, while others will require some planning.

This is Jesse, he is a drifter who lives near the bridge in my area. He owns nothin but a bike, a bird and a bag of about 10 items!
Yesterday, while I was riding my bike down around the beach – which is about 5km from my house – I got a flat tyre. I had no choice but to turn around and wheel my bike the long walk home.
A few people rode past and didn’t really pay me any attention and I didn’t expect them too, but as I started walking, headphones in my ears, I noticed the homeless guy from under the bridge saying something to me. At first I thought he was going to ask me for something so I popped my headphones out and asked him what he wanted? He then replied “I don’t want anything bra but I’ve got a new tube in my bag and you can have it if ya want!” Shocked at first I said no thanks but he insisted. So I walked over to his little clearing where he had his things and his pet bird sat in a busted cage.
He opened up his empty bag and gave me the tube (which was one of the very few things he had) helped me change the tyre, even pumped it up! I asked him how I could pay him back and he said to me “don’t worry about it bra, this is what it’s all about!”
The enormity of his situation and the fact that he went out of his way to help me was so humbling, I mean this guy was willing to give me his stuff and didn’t want anything in return. To you and I, a bike tube would probably not mean much but to a guy with so little this item must hold enormous value!
I could go on and on about how selfless this guy was to give me, a total stranger, clearly in a much better position than him some of his possessions, while people like us are so selfishly attached to all our useless crap.
Anyway I just wanted to show you a pic of Jesse with his new Versace lenses, some fresh Sneakers, a full belly and a cold beer… Felt good to do something for the bloke. I also went up to woollies and got him a couple weeks worth of food and some seed for his bird lol…
Man he was ecstatic even had tears in his eyes and couldn’t thank me enough, but amidst me sitting there proud of my good deed, and him singing me praises, I suddenly felt pretty bad because the truth is if he didn’t go out of his way to help me, I wouldn’t of done anything for him.
I ride past this guy all the time and never even think twice!
Really knocked me off my high horse!
Even though we sit around with all our materialistic needs and pass judgment, this dude has something that none of us can buy!
I guess what I’m trying to say is thanks for the lesson in humanity champ!

For the past 6 years, a dog named Capitan has slept in the grave of his owner every night. His owner, Miguel Guzman died in 2006 and Capitan dissapeared shortly after the family attended the funeral services. They searched everywhere and put out flyers to try and find him. But no one had seen him.
A week later, some people who were at the cemetery late one evening spotted Capitan laying on the grave and they contacted the grounds keeper at the cemetery. The cemetery notified the family who promptly came to pick him up and take him home. But each night he would cry and scratch frantically at the door to go out and he wouldn't return home until morning. It was later discovered that Capitan would walk the 3 miles back to the cemetery each night to guard his master's grave.
It has been 7 years now. The cemetery does not close the gates until he arrives each night promptly at 6 pm. He sleeps there all night guarding the grave until the ground keeper opens the gate in the morning. This is a true picture of Capitan here

Every morning in Frankfurt, Germany, you might catch a glimpse of Jenny, a horse who goes on a long walk every morning, all by herself. She has been taking the same route every morning for 14 years, ever since her owner, now 79 years old, became unable to ride. She enjoys greeting all of the familiar faces along the way, and she stops and gets treats and pettings from some of her favorite humans. The locals treat her like a celebrity and happily clean up after her. A piece of paper is attached to her halter that reads, "My name is Jenny. I didn't run away, I'm just walking. Thank you." But the police get calls frequently from people who don't know about the arrangement. They are very familiar with the horse and the owner, and there have been no incidents in 14 years. A local veterinarian gives her routine checkups and continues to find her to be healthy and showing no anxiety about her unique lifestyle. 🐎 ♥️

Tender one Amazing one Lady of my dreams

She called the Tender One and his mother answered. Then called the Amazing One and his sister answered!

When she called the Lady of my Dreams, HER phone rang!!!

She cried until she got her eyes swollen because she doubted her husband, so she gave him her one month salary to make up for her sin.

When his mother learnt of the story, she sold her jewellery and gave her son the money.

The husband took the money and bought a gift for his girlfriend whose name was saved as "K***a the Electrician"
