Clarity Productions is the recording studio of Blake Matthews and is based just outside of Raleigh.

I got my start as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in bands but I always had an obsession with what made a great sounding recording. From the production and performance aspects to the technical side and how to achieve the tones found on my favorite records, I was obsessed with it all. After a decade of honing my skills and meeting a lot of great people along the way, I started Clarity Audio Pr

oductions to bring the skills I acquired to others. I know that a great final product is all about capturing the energy and emotion of a song. For one song that may be a polished stacks of vocal layers and drums you can feel in your chest. For the next song, that could be more of a "live band in a room" vibe. I care deeply about each project and do not take lightly that you are trusting me as a partner to help bring your vision to life.
