Tickets are now available for our upcoming concert at the House of Blues in Houston on August 10th. We are beginning our countdown to Folk Fest at The House of Blues Houston. In the three hour show we will be featuring many talented local artists. Here is the official video of our new release Macon's Flower. The song should be out on streaming platforms in the next couple days but you can catch it early on You Tube. Macon's Flower tells the story of a woman who leaves Macon Georgia for LA to become a superstar as told by The Lonesome Six. I envisioned it as reminiscent of 60's surf guitar with some tribal drum patterns. I hope you enjoy it!

Last night in the home studio Ron and I were with Lonesome Six vocalist, Sage Dramberger running through some songs we are planning to release later this year. Yesterday we shot some videos for our Friends of the Six series featuring a couple great artists. While we had him with us, we convinced Mark Rendon to sing some high harmonies on a song we were recording for the June Songwriter Challenge. Here is the video we shot for the original song Between the Lines of Faith and Desperation. The song features three members of the LS6, Nate Henze on lead vocal as well as Ron Leal and me on guitar and backing vocals. Mark is cozied up on the couch with us in the home studio singing the high harmonies on a song he just heard for the first time (the man is good). Believe it or not we did this in one take and no we are not having a stroke in the video, we are staring at a tv screen to see the words and chords as the song is brand new. I hope you enjoy it!
