I've been thinking a lot about the decisions we make based on fear, and how it can impact our lives.
One area where this is particularly relevant is in starting an online business. 💼

It's easy to get caught up in the fear of high start-up costs, the fear of failure, or the fear of uncertainty.

When was the last time you prioritized yourself?

How many days do we have left with loved ones?
How many summers?
How many birthdays?
How much of anything?

It's an unknown question.
Our lives are so busy, we put off visiting because of more (so called) important things.
'I'll see them next week'
'I'll visit next month'
'I'll decline that invitation because I can't be bothered'

We all do it.
But, when we start to think about how many days we have left with loved ones, sometimes it's sooner than you think.

So here my message.
Visit those loved ones even who you are too tired, are pushed for time, it's raining, it's hot.
Don't put off to tomorrow what you can do today

What a day it was yesterday!

I heard from so many inspiring women who are killing it in this business. And what I realised is they all started where I am and they are just ordinary people like me.

Denise, who is hosting the event, was working in aged care and noticed there was a 72yo woman still working. When she asked her why, she replied she had to because she couldn't survive on the government pension and didn't have enough super.

2024 - A Year of Growth

If I had to sum up this year in one word, it would be "growth."
It's been a journey of transformation, one that's pushed me to my limits and forced me to evolve.

It's not been easy. I've always been one to doubt my capabilities. Self confidence is not my strength, but I'm working on it.

One thing I embarked on this year was regaining my fitness.
I joined a CrossFit group with trepidation and found a whole new world and a new family that accepted me with open arms. I'm getting stronger with every session 💪

Continuing to develop my online business has been challenging this year with self doubt creeping in.
There were moments when it felt like I was being stretched to my breaking point.
I faced challenges that tested my resolve.
I'm letting go of comfortable habits, and I'm navigating unfamiliar territory.
Some days, it felt like I was taking two steps forward and one step back.

Yet, here I am – stronger, wiser, and more resilient. And I've learned a valuable lesson: growth isn't always easy, but it's always worth it.

Perhaps that's the greatest reward of all – the knowledge that I've grown, that I've overcome obstacles, and that I'm capable of more than I ever thought possible.

If this year has taught me anything, it's that growth is a journey, not a destination. And I'm grateful for every step of the way.

Embracing Authenticity

Someone recently told me, "Since you've changed, your content is probably shared in WhatsApp chats... and not in a good way."

Initially, I felt the sting of fear, self-doubt, and unworthiness.

But then I remembered why I started this journey:

To empower myself and others to be their authentic selves.

If we hide, how will those who need us most ever find us?

In a world that demands conformity, showing up authentically is an act of rebellion.

By embracing my true self, I give others permission to do the same.

So, if that makes me "weird," I'm Weird and Proud.

If my journey sparks a conversation, maybe it's the ripple this world needs.
