Jamaican born upcoming recording artiste Lamaro " Gussie Gus " Goss have getting a lot of praise for his single " REALLY NEED ME " that was produced by Sycka & Dehva from N.T.P. & Dehva House Production. The song has an R&B type of riddim with Gussie Gus laying his singjay vocals to give it an international sounding record. It has receive radio airplay on NEWSTALK 93.7F

M & ZIP 103.9FM & is available for listening on YOUTUBE SITE. Gussie Gus have been recording songs from he was in the 9th grade at Meadowbrook High School. He & two of his classmates " Lionel Harris A.K.A DAINJA " & " Christopher Miller A.K.A MAXX KELLA " formed a group called the Hydroponics back in 1997. Working independently without a management team, the group could not gain the exposure they would have wanted. Another challenge the group was facing, was the fact that they were recording HipHop singles, knowing that Jamaican culture was more related to Reggae & Dancehall, so it was hard to promote the singles. However Gussie Gus took a break off recording in 2002 and started doing a regular 9-5 job as a bearer at a construction company. In November 2009 Gussie Gus re-invented himself & linked up with a friend name Chaddino Gillings A.K.A Dehva who had a recording studio at his home called Dehva House Production. It was there that he also linked up with producer Sycka, who was also pushing a label for himself called N.T.P. Gussie Gus recorded his first single called "FOCUS" which both labels had contributed to, Sycka with the riddim & engineering skills & Dehva with the studio & studio time. This single has a powerful message that encourages people to work, so they can achieve their own goals. In 2010 Gussie Gus recorded another single called ' REALLY NEED ME" on the Day Dreamer Riddim for the partnering labels N.T.P & Dehva House Production. Additional engineering work was done on this project by Diego who is also a producer. It was this record that convinced both producers that Gussie Gus was headed for great achievements in the music industry. Since the recording of this single other artistes such as Magnum Kings & Queen winner "Singer Jah" & Tastee Talent Show winner "Rumhead" have both recorded singles on the Day Dreamer Riddim. Gussie Gus went on to record a couple more singles for the partnering producers, such as "PARTY WHOLE NIGHT", "YARDIE FLAVA feat. King K" & "Kingston Town feat. Ricky Henny". Not being in a contract, Gussie Gus was free to work with any producer he wish to, so he recorded another single called "Colonge" for producer Jerico from Starnine Production who also partnered with Q6 from Kingston 3 Records & Rasta Kii from SpotAlion Production. Engineering works was also done by Diego on this single. This record also has an R&B mixed with Dancehall type of vibe. It was through these producers that he even got the opportunity to perform on a Tribute Show for the Late Crowned Prince Of Reggae Dennis Emanuel Brown, which was held on january 30, 2011 on Orange Street, Down Town Kingston. Since then Gussie Gus has been doing Gigs at Parties, Weddings and any function that he gets a chance to showcase his talent. He also shot a 3 in 1 Music Video, which he had the opportunity to write his own script for. He teamed up with Ricky Graphics from Ricky Graphics Film, to shoot this 3 in 1 Music Video for his singles "FOCUS," "REALLY NEED ME" & "PARTY WHOLE NIGHT". It wasn't hard getting this film together, because all the characters & locations where in place, & hte script was based on his real life activities, so all he had to do was be himself & play his daily role. The editing was done by Ricky Graphics. The Music Video was finished & released on FACEBOOK & on YOUTUBE for all the viewers to watch & leave comments. Still working independently without a management team, Gussie Gus manages to raise funds from his weekly salary as a bearer & from contributions that he gets from family members to promote his music career. Gussie Gus is a recording artiste that brings more style & flava to the Reggae & Dancehall fraternity & he hopes the younger generation understands the power of music and what can be achieved by just listening to a conscious song. He wishes that people do get inspiration from his songs & start being more responsible for their own actions.
