This is getting crazy… we gotta talk about this one. With Devin Haney fighting on December 9th and Garcia fighting on December 2nd we going to get some answers. But either way it looks like it’s going be some drama. 🫣

So there was comment that stated “Power sucks”. And went on to say it was was the stereotypical show for black leads. This was my response…

On the surface I can understand that opinion but the depth and conflict built into these characters takes the “stereotypical” and makes it more human. Specifically with the original Power, you see how the main character Ghost, grows, develops and even regresses at some point. Despite the stereotypes he seems more human and his rights and wrongs seem more the hue of gray. That’s the portion of the story you will always miss when start painting with that broad brush and forget about the nuances and intricacies that make these characters real to millions of people around the world, that would surely disagree with you.
