So what’s worth fighting for? When was the last time this country had to fight for anything is close to home?

Certainly, we have a lot of honor dead for their bravery and service to both sides, but what about all of those civilians?

What a nightmare that must’ve been to see cities like Atlanta and Richmond burn.

And just look at the casualty rates and realize we don’t have ways to deal with the aftermath of the new weapons we’ve created.

Just like all of those horrible injuries. They got with weapons that could repeat and had rifled barrels and were accurate.

To see Vicksburg under siege and pounded by canon under the command of General Grant himself.

And what was that more really about, economics? Land? Diplomacy? No, it was about the culture…? The culture.

And if we do it again all the victims who died in the first Civil War all died for nothing. 

Certainly, we all deserve our fates, but I don’t deserve yours.

Poor Facebook and social media in general. After a fairly long honeymoon the bad habits of the platform and its users eventually surface. And there are people talking about social media is if there is some “rights” associated with it and the user’s beyond those in the disclaimers. Those convenient disclaimers they provide saying that they are not responsible for much, but they seem to take on a lot of responsibility just the same.

But Facebook really doesn’t know what to do with people who want to trade more than just news and items of interest from the usual sources and suspects who have been serving up the corporate chum as it is ground up and spit out by people wearing a lot of make up to look pretty, but speak through s**t stained teeth.

But just the same, the world is watching. And they are watching on traditional and new medias. Most of those medias still depend on legacy outlets to fill their pages, which means their pages are filled with the same old s**t you can find laying around the subway, under a bum after having been in the hands of a millionaire.

You know my friend, the Thought Sucking Carny. He is the leader of my colorful train of consciousness and the boxcars full of exhibits, freak shows, passenger protagonists and victims.

I haven’t pulled The TSC out for a while but he’s the one who picks the circus’ route and sets the schedule. But we all know who those passenger protagonist represent in the show, The Big Show!

You can call it a long train, or you can call it a broad spectrum but I guarantee you you’re on it. You’re on it just like the spectrum of stories from around the globe pass through your character arc.

And that spectrum is at times on a high wire, where balance is important and being steady, and not reacting to rapidly, abruptly, or without true commitment to the maneuver… well, could be disastrous.

And the Carney knows the show is only what the customer sees, because if they saw the drudgery of the back lot the cheerfulness of the crowd would disappear like so much lipstick off a smiling clown pig.

And I think we have a tremendous opportunity to look at the Circus world of politics, business, and the media, and identify what you would best describe as “a clown show”.

As a seemingly bunch of poorly overdressed old men bumbling around in old suits, strange hats and oversized shoes wearing way too much make up, getting in and out of cars creating a hectkic mess of it and then picking up their s**t and moving on leaving you dazed and confused with an empty refrigerator. And hopefully your cat isn’t pregnant… I made that last one up.

But so much for politicians. And what can you call Don Lemon’s attempted interview with Elon Musk to celebrate his new job with X/Twitter? May I suggest “s**t show“? So much for getting off to a good end.

What’s a Carnival Barker to do when there’s a carnival going all around and you have no control over the animals or the clowns and you can’t call the fat lady “the fat lady” or for that matter make fun of her beard?

Why, sell tickets of course! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

So we’re selling crazy?

No, just presenting it in all its forms. And that makes perfect sense. And so does being happy every time you stop by because I know you don’t have to be here, but I do.

You can hate this guy all you want but I don’t know that he’s done anything illegal. They say he’s done all sorts of things, but I don’t know that they’ve ever really found him or his brother guilty of anything. And even if they did, it does look bad when he really doesn’t have any victims.

And we really need to take a look at masculinity after all of that “toxic masculinity“ noise that went on because men were holding chairs and doors so women could proceed without too much effort. You know, being a gentleman in ways that don’t necessarily matter, but do have meaning .

And whether you find what he says inspirational or infuriating really doesn’t matter to a lot of people who see things his way. He doesn’t expect anything from you other than what you want to give to your own causes and your own kind. You know the kind with courage, if not couth you can believe in.

But maybe all your heroes have to come in a superhero suit with glittering teeth and imaginary power, said, serve you no purpose in the real world. Powers of persuasion to put you in a seat for two hours of why you should conform. Teddy Roosevelt said you’re not a player if you’re not in the arena.

But he wasn’t belittling you. He was merely informing you of the power that you had, and that it is in your oratory and your example that should matter. Your exemplary life doing exemplar things, and some of them quite manly, like search for the origin of the Amazon after your 55th birthday, a journey that almost killed him.

And that of course was all after the  legendary Roughriders and his creation of the “Bullmoose party“ and his Presidency. So yes, Teddy. Roosevelt was certainly a man of action and words. They say he shook when he spoke, and the entire room shook with him. No, the Tates are not Teddy Roosevelt, but they are men of action and words.

How much affect do men like the Tates have on the man Osphere? Probably less than one might think. But for a lot of men, they provide a backbone. And all the really saying is take care of yourself, your body and your mind. Have principles, but don’t let them get too puristic that you don’t have fun.

Will the Tate brothers ever take on the Amazon? I don’t know they seem to be taking on a couple of governments and a good dose of the feminine culture which doesn’t seem to be as easy as folks might think. They were in prison once and I think they may be even in prison again. I know they were arrested a second time, but haven’t followed up yet.

In any case I don’t think the Tate brothers are going to get disappeared, that would just be too obvious, even for the culture creatures who brought you everything from cancel culture to your s**tty university system that used to be the envy of the world. We really need to look at messages and who is sending them. The Tate brothers, they just disrupt the message.

And what’s that message? Is that message masculine? Is that message po*******hy? Is that message-lasciviousness? Is that message heterosexual? Is that message?… is it anti-governmental? Is it antisocial? Probably all of the above. But these guys find themselves in the news on social media and they got opinions.

And you know what we say around here and that is that “the man with the most opinions wins“, and why…? Well, because he already has yours. And that’s to say that I’ve listened to a lot of opinions on the Tates but that most people don’t even know them or care about them.

Like so many other social media peeps you gotta be on social media to see the Tate brothers because you’re not gonna really see him on the mainstream media. That is of course they are being arrested or some other negative light. And in spite of their scandalous behavior and unsavouy air i’m not sure if anything they’ve ever done is illegal.

So this thing hasn’t been in defense of the Tates, it’s just been wondering of why they put so much emphasis on trying to keep these guys down when all they’re really doing is being men doing men things and telling men that it’s OK to do them. And that they should be proud of themselves and treat their women like women want to be treated.

The truth is, is that authority figures don’t like to be challenged, and the Tates challenged certain authority figures and the mantra of the modern sexual movement. And the Tates challenge the new wave doctrine of fluid sexuality or transgenderism or all of the what one might call the trans-progressive movement.

I’m not sure if it’s that accurate to say this, but to the new frivolous set of newbies, they just see the Tates as throwbacks. Neanderthals. Creatures from a time before the recognition of societal and more importantly, female evolution. Before females could almost do all of the things a man could do with a machine. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

I see a lot of people. A lot of them a good number of times over the course of the season. They come to play golf. Mostly men but surprisingly more women than other women may suspect.

And yes, a lot of your typical older to middle-aged duffer. And we have a lot of young folks of the prototypical types. Golf is a very unifying sport in so many ways, including we don’t suffer fools 🙂

Steeler football, they love it in the burgh. and Steeler fans, faithful, as they are still hate a loser. Yes, they are enduring, yes, they will come to the games and no they will never be a Steeler game in Pittsburgh that isn’t sold out. Such as the nature of the relationship between Pittsburgh and its football team.

ESPN's Bill Barnwell thinks the Steelers are likely to bring back quarterback Mason Rudolph for the 2024 season.

As you can see, we here at “the man with the most opinions wins” are always willing to agree with people who think like us. 🙂

I think it is safe to say that when you’ve lost The Young Turks, you’ve lost the script. And that’s not just one man’s opinion because Anna Kasparian last I checked was still a functioning female. And I really didn’t check, but I’m assuming… so what?

And although they finally had to do this, because of things that were painfully obvious, we still have to give them at least a shred of credit with suspect to their integrity. Certainly people can disagree, but we all adhere to a framework of a form of integrity.

And yes, this is that good sign that says something is seriously out of whack. Out of whack in the press, in the government, in the courts in our basic perception of prudence and popular feelings and dare I say opinion. But that’s kind of what we do around here.

And I’m always thankful when you stop by because I know you don’t have to be here, but I do.

Why? This isn’t rocket science as much as they’d like you to think it is beyond your critical and calculable sensibilities.

If there’s one thing America does after it transits through this current bout of obscene corruption it’s going to have to take back control of its money supply.

Everybody wants to change the politics, the politics is simply slobbering over all of the money that’s been printed, and now they’re fighting the game control of things before it all s**ts the bed.

Bubbles. I expect they’ll all pop about the time they hand Donald Trump the presidency. That’s if they ever plan on letting him take office. If you can’t, we can Donald Trump they will weaken the country. Donald Trump is just a speed bump, the American people are going to have to do the heavy, lifting, because putting your faith in one man is meaningless.
