.femme is truly a labor of love for me. A passion that started when I was a little girl watching Project Runway. I’ve always had an affinity for beautiful fabrics and decadent things in general.

Take me to the couture fabric showroom and I’m like a kid in a candy store lol. I took a semester to study textiles and fabric back in 2014 and the obsession only became worse 🥴

Fast forward to 2016, and I designed my own wedding gown. My 8-foot-winged wedding dress went viral and was all over 🥹

I couldn’t get enough of beautiful gowns, so I started working as a bridal stylist. OMG 😍 that’s when the seed of .femme started.

When I asked my little sis, how was wedding planning going? I didn’t expect her to tell me that her reception dress fell through days before her wedding. I immediately offered to make her a custom dress and the rest was…well you see the material 😌

One of my mommy friends texted me a picture of this UCLA outfit and told me she got one for Carter, too 🥰

We decided to take pictures of our boys as if they were in college; so that when we send them off to school—about 17 years from now—we can take a then vs now photo. Lol 😆

Yes. We are those moms.
AND I LOVE THAT FOR US 💙☺️

Vive City Church truly blessed our son! Our family couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the entire service was.

We anticipated the usual quick presentation & certificate. Especially since we are not members of this church community. Yet, they had so much in store for us.

I MEAN WOW! Amir and I had individual vows to decree as parents. Our family also had to take vows. The Pastor then anointed Carter’s head. Then Carter received his bible and Baby Dedication certificate. And most memorable, the Pastor wrote a letter to Carter to be opened on his 12th birthday ☺️.

I just wanted to share my 12-month-postpartum energy (not body). I didn’t strive to have the best body after one year. I really wanted to have the best postpartum experience(inside & outside).

Being a new mom has come with its challenges, but I’m adjusting, learning, and growing. One area that I’ve found constant joy in is DRESSING UP! It’s my way of showing up for myself after caring for everyone else.
