In December 2010, we came together with a vision to create a platform that would engage Singaporeans on global issues and inspire our generation to 'fight the world's fight'. As the first home-grown, student-run international affairs publication, The Singapore Globalist lends a unique local and Southeast Asian voice to discussions on what's happening in the world today. Through quality writing and

incisive analysis, we shine a spotlight on issues less-reported by the mainstream media and strive to present new perspectives. It is a conversation where people share perspectives and debate international issues. It is a conversation that seeks to inspire its participants to be responsible global citizens.
