Hey everyone ! Been a minute !! So sorry for not posting much on here. A lot has gone on in the past couple years and I’ve had to step back from music production. CoVId wasn’t kind to our industry. But I’m happy to say I’m back at it ! Full force and looking to work with some new and existing clients ! Song writing , demos , full albums , EPs , mixing , mastering , you name it ! Rates start at $50 per hour but bulk deals can be arranged for large projects and I’m going work ! Happy to be back in the saddle as Aerosmith once’s said (happens to be on my fave album of theirs too 😉) so let’s make some music ! Pop / rock / folk / country preferred but I love a challenge so hit me up and let’s talk !

Been a while since I posted as many of you follow my band account and that’s where a lot of the action is lately. But for those only on here , I wanted to let you know the band is playing Gussapolooza 2022 on Sunday Sept 18th at 4:15pm. 45 minute set with a full band playing some classic and some tunes we’ve never played live before !! March was a solid vinyl month. It was my birthday a couple weeks ago so I got a few as gifts. The first one is “self titled” from 2011. It’s a limited edition with special cover ! Got it last week at their show in Toronto. Limited to 15 per show. Happy to get one ! Also :
Paramore “Riot”, “Failer” - I love this record so much , Nirvana “In Utero” - my fave nirvana album ! and Foo Fighters - “wasting light” which is my fave of theirs too 💔 RIP Taylor. Some amazing drumming on this album !

“Whatcha doin Jeff !?” , oh nothing much , just recovering from surgery this morning , booking the tour , nothing important. 😝 gallbladder gone. Hernia fixed. All in the name of rock n roll…. 🤘

Mmmm pasta and tomato sauce. Thanks to this fu***ng Omicron , I’m further banished to the world of the bland and tasteless. Ya see , my gallbladder is fu**ed, and it causes me pain constantly. 8 hour bouts of pain mixed with profuse sweating and often my old buddy puke shows up too !! And! If that’s not enough , I have a hernia in my stomach. Where am I going with this you may be asking!? … well this week I was supposed to be going for surgery to repair it all. Not now thanks to that dick Omicron. It was cancelled indefinitely. So to avoid issues I have to eat basically “bread and water” no spice , no peppers, definitely no onions , no fat. No taste. If anyone hasn’t told you yet COVID, could ya just f**k right off !?

Chris and I started this project in 2018. And we wrapped it up in 2019. Then nothing. So you can imagine I was so excited to hear it was finally coming out in November ! And here it is!!! The debut album from called “Noise & Signal”. It’s 10 very compelling songs , very unique, very not what’s “in” right now and that’s what makes it so good ! It sounds like Chris. It’s really cool songs with unique arrangements and interesting story telling in the lyrics. I’m so thankful he had me produce and mix this album it was truly a joy to do. So please go give it a listen and support yet another talented musician from the Kawartha Lakes !!!

My band will be hosting a “Walk for Wenjack” again this year in Lindsay. I think now more than ever , we need to we need to do our part to spread awareness and work towards reconciliation between indigenous and non indigenous peoples. We’ve all seen the news. We’re all more aware of what happened to thousands of children in the residential schools in our country. So please join us , walk with us and help us. Consider donating to our team. Link in the bio.

My band is playing it’s first show of the year Sept 18th at “Gussapolooza” in Holland Landing Ontario. It’s a three day Music festival with camping and vendors etc. Super cheap weekend ! If you want tickets the link is in my bio.

Hey friends ! If you’re interested in making music I’ve posted my most common rates. I do recording as well and production but mostly mixing and mastering. With the home studio invasion in full effect , one thing I notice is a lot of recordings lack the “depth” of a lot of commercial music. Quite simply this is achieved with reverb and delay and 26 years experience in using them to make your mixes sound less sterile and flat. I’d love to help you elevate your home recordings ! Happy new single day to ! We tracked this tune last year during the pandemic in my studio. The video is awesome too ! Jon used pictures of his friends instead of getting together with real people and did some A+ animation ! He even does the solo in a black hole !!! Great tune go give it a spin !!

Spending today writing. Been a while since I just sat and played guitar all day. Been nice to get back at it. Re-Learning songs for the tour we hope to announce soon, writing some new stuff and arranging some old songs in a new way for a fun little project we’re working on ! Have to rebuild the calluses I lost over the last year and a half and get the voice warmed up again. Haven’t really sung anything since last spring when I cut the vocals to the new album. Amazing how fast you lose it when ya don’t use it!! Also went for a walk to clear my head. I find sometimes being creative makes me really anxious. My head starts to hurt and my thoughts and ideas get confused. So a walk helps me sort em out. Stopped by the record shop for a browse. Also had a nice chat with ! Nice to get back to some kind of normalcy. I gotta be honest I’m feeling a bit anxious about getting back out there playing. Excited too but nervous. Hope to have some news on that front soon! I look forward to the day when this pandemic is long behind us. Hopefully soon. I hope you’re all well in this crazy world. ✌️❤️
