Another £1 (+50% off) bargain, this is such a trip to look through this after all the Star Wars that has come since this book was released in 1997!

As I was turning the pages I thought it would be been great to have this book when I started collecting original trilogy autographs and have all those pages signed, I love my 10x8 collection but it would have been really cool to fill this up with autographs too!

Amazing facial sculpt, great accessories and soft goods, a really fine addition to the collection! It’s all ’s fault that I’ve started on the Hot Toys figures but there’s no looking back now!

Last week we said our formal goodbyes to my dad at a beautiful celebration of life near my hometown in Wales.

Last year I asked him to sign this photo of us at , at a Star Wars weekend a few years before, we both felt it was the perfect way for him to become part of my collection that he had started some 30 years before!

I held off framing and hanging it until this time was right and this morning felt like the right time, for the man who started it all for me, may the force be with you, always!

Another find while sorting out that I don’t think I’d shared when I picked it up!

I know we all find that a lot of 3.75” figures end up swinging on the pegs and there a lot more desirable figures released in The Black Series, unfortunately, I’m not sure I could favour the 3.75” consistently over The Black Series 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve always wanted to protect my collectibles after having a Carrie Fisher autograph sun damaged some years ago, although most of my figures are in cases from .dc, I have added a few acrylic cases from different places but have to say I’ve been most impressed with this case I picked up from this week!

They’re not cheap but I’ll be adding a few more for certain figures in my collection, I’ll be continuing with my carbonised Black Series figures and my Vader figures first 🙌🏻

What cases do you use and would recommend?

For a while I’ve been thinking of concentrating on specific areas of collecting and with the arrival of Max, I thought it was a good time to start to reduce the new items a little.

I’ve decided to bring most of my Vader pieces together, focusing on displaying them on top of the cabinets and try to bring in some less pieces etc. This will be really tough with 25 years of The Phantom Menace this year, my love for this movie has grown immensely over the last few years so I’m going to continue to collect TPM, Vader and try to complete the Red Line Black Series figures as I go too!

I know I’ll pick up some others, in fact there are some on the way but it’s at least I’m making a start, especially after the Hot Toys purchases recently!

I’m kicking off the 2024 with a big purchase, this is only my second Hot Toys figure after becoming hooked thanks to , this is actually the first of at least four Hot Toys additions lined up this year, with 1 more on its way and 2 preorders 😬

I couldn’t pass up over 50% off at in their January Sale, great service, quick shipping, I’d encourage you to check them out!

It’s clear my highlights this year have been & welcoming our first child to the world.

With just under 10k likes, this page has allowed my fandom to grow so much in the last few years as I’ve started to collect a lot more, next year will have a lot more Hot Toys in it with some pre-orders and some savings I could resist, plus I’ll be rearranging my room in the coming weeks so plenty more to share with you all!
