“사랑의 단상” part 3 of 3. when marta, our director, half drunk pitched her script to me.. “to keep myself from loving you, is my last act of love for you”.. was the line that got me into wanting to act in this immediately. true story! today i am sharing with you the final part of this little film project that’s very dear to me. enjoy the previous two parts in my reel section if you hadn’t had the chance to watch yet. written and directed by @ma.i_amen my on screen partner @jinwook_2 our lovely team is tagged (did i forget anyone?) story inspired by “fragments d’un discours amoureux” (a lover’s discourse: fragments) by #rolandbarthes thank you for the privilege of letting me be part of this. i learned a lot through this project <3 and i actually love the whole film (my section is only a part of the whole story) with all of my heart because it speaks for so many things that only we, the people involved.. the people of our scene.., might really understand. being able to create eternity like this though (influenced by stories that we really experienced) and to be able to have an audience to show it to with an essential message that speaks to all of our hearts.. simply is a beautiful thing. and i’m thankful for having experienced the hard work and the process of it all.

i was absolutely in awe @isseymiyakeofficial i’m actually a classically trained pianist i started playing piano at the age of 8 and had lessons for almost 10 years i attended the rheinische musikschule in cologne it’s like a conservatory and was even modeled after the conservatoire in paris <3 thus my appreciation for this amazing sensory live experience at the issey miyake ss23 show. bravo, vraiment! i was really moved. this wasn’t just a fashion show. this was art. please, if you are a real@music lover, do yourself a favour and listen to the whole live ‘concert’ by @konakanoki on @isseymiyakeofficial’s instagram 🎹 they uploaded the whole show on their feed. it’s worth it.

i am very excited to show you this special set this evening at 6pm! 룰루레몬의 #beyoubewell 페스티벌 둘째 날이 시작 됐습니다! you can join @lululemonkr’s online festival, day 2 of 3 has already begun, anytime for free under: lululemonbeyoubewell.kr 드디어 오늘 저녁 6시에 바다와 초원의 사운드를 담고 명상적인 테크노 리듬과 합쳐서 저의 완전 색다른 셋이 공개 됩니다. 저의 생각 정확하게는 영어로만 표현이 가능해서 ㅜ (아쉬운 마음으로) 영어로 설명 하겠습니다~~ as my set is introductory to the rest of today’s festival program (incl yoga, meditation and etc) - it is short but still very special to me. it was a lot of fun crafting this as i, for the first time, started out by creating a soundscape first before going into actual tracks. i merged nature asmr field recordings from the 70s and only later on added electronic elements. it’s an ambient narrative that gradually unveils into a rhythmical storyline! (thanks to my baby for helping me put my thoughts into words, i am a bad writer) i personally love the repetitiveness of techno - many times, when i listen to it, i catch myself in a meditative state as i just let go of things while focusing on the pattern of a specific song. that is exactly why i like this genre so much.. i focus and forget everything for a moment and move and go within myself. it’s liberating, cathartic. and that’s why i love it. anyway, check it out if you got curious 🙂 today at 6pm seoul time or 11am berlin time or 2am cali time i’ll post my track list in my story today as a preview. Volume 1 will feature 5 techno DJs: Syffre, Song Vera, Chukimaandal, Ana Kim, and Soyo. It's a genre that thrives when you let it take over the mechanical nature of the body. The concept of 'The Awakening' is about celebrating some of the unique attributes of Techno as a way of metamorphosis. The exploration of who you are as a person, of being awakened to life, the understanding of the human condition, to the search for your true self. Let’s celebrate Buddha’s birthday with techno this year.
