LOCAL NEWS | SIKAT NGA REGGAE SINGER NGA BACOLODNON PATAY SA AKSIDENTE

Utod ang ulo sang isa ka sikat nga singer nga si Juan Manuel Ubaldo “Kokoi Baldo” matapos gin-alegar malasakan sang truck ang ginamaneho nga motorsiklo mga la una kaina sang aga sa Circumferential Road sa Purok Active sa Barangay Mandalagan sa Bacolod.

Suno Sa imbestigasyon sang Police Station 3, halin sa gig si Baldo kag pauli na kun tani sa ila balay sakay sa iya motorsiklo.

Gin-alegar nga nagasunod ang biktima sa tatlo trucks kag isa ka pick-up.

Una nga nag-overtake sa pick-up si Baldo kag sang dira naman sila sa kilid sang truck posible nga nag-slide ang iya motor kag nagderetso sa ulihi nga goma sang truck rasun nga nalasakan.

Ang pagpati nila nautod ang ulo sini apang ara lang ini ugaling napusa na kag naglapta ang utok.

Ginkustodiya na driver sang truck nga si Dennis Flor, 49 anyos sang Barangay Sampinit, Syudad sang Bago.*

LOOK: KOKOI BALDO DIES IN ACCIDENT

Local singer, Kokoi Baldo died on the spot after he figured in an accident along the Circumferential Road in Purok Active, Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City 1:30 Friday December 8.

Baldo, whose real name is Juan Manuel Ubaldo, 44, is a resident of Country Homes, Brgy. Estefania.

PMaj. Armilyn Vargas, station commander of Police Station 3, said the victim was travelling to the north on board his motorcycle when he tried to overtake to the right a 10-wheeler truck carrying sugarcane but he lost control and the truck tramped on him that immediately killed him.

His head was reportedly severed because of the impact of the accident.

The truck driver was identified as Bunny Flor, 44, a resident of Bago City.

He is currently detained in Police Station 3.

The victim was known as the Philippine's Bob Marley as he sings reggae.

Kokoi was a finalist in the popular singing contest The Voice Philippines Season 2.

His manager, in Facebook post, officially announced the death of the singer:

It is with a heavy heart to inform the public, especially the fans, that Kokoi Baldo has passed away earlier this morning.

We kindly ask for privacy during this hard time in respect to his family and friends.

He will be missed, loved and forever in our hearts.

If there will be any updates, it will be posted here.

BASAHIN: Mariing kinondena ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pambobomba sa Mindanao State University sa Marawi City ngayong umaga, ika-3 ng Disyembre.

Sa pahayag ng Pangulo, ipinaabot nito ang pakikiramay sa mga biktima ng trahedya, maging ang patuloy na aksyon ng administrasyon, kasama ang Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, upang masuportahan ang mga apektadong pamilya at mawakasan ang karahasan sa bansa.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has corrected the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at 10:37 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 2, 2023) to 7.4. It was tectonic in origin.

LATEST UPDATE: PHIVOLCS raised to 7.4 the magnitude of the earthquake that hit Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at 10:37 p.m. on December 2. Initial reading placed the earthquake at magnitude 6.9.

Areas that felt the quake were the Bicol Region, Central and Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Caraga.
