I need to be real for a minute. I am heartbroken for this young man. Yes, his display was completely infantile, and whatever professional consequences he reaps from it are more than justified. But when I found myself laughing at AB memes, I realized that his actions are a cry for help. He's hurting, and we are called to pray for those who are hurting and broken. And there I was, laughing at memes. I am embarrassed that I'm so shallow. That I would use someone else's pain as a source of laughter. We all have flaws. We all have pain. In fact, we have probably all been there (minus the national stage and cameras). So instead of laughing at him, let's collectively pray for Antonio Brown. Pray that he finds what he so desperately needs in Jesus Christ. For peace in his broken heart. For his family. And for his eternity. “And let him who is without sin cast the first stone” — Jesus.
