At 3:00 in the morning I read some very sad and tragic news. An old friend and one of the best guitarists I ever heard and had the honor to play with for several years back in to 70's had passed away. We played together in our band “The Midwestern Rockies” through most of the 70’s at several bars and clubs around the KC area. Ron joins 3 other members now that have passed and if I know those guys at all they’ve already set up band practice and are jamming as I type. They all are loved and missed by many including me, and their music will play in my heart and my mind for the rest of my life. God please bless Ron’s family for this loss and give them strength to get through this. One final note, hey guys (Ron, Boog, Woody, and Rick). Save room for me and my keyboards when it’s my turn, and keep the beer cold, ok? Love always, Bobby. “To Love and Friends”
