Clash over Bill 78: Help or Exploitation?
Up for adoption Wednesday, 26th @ 10:00am
Some say the U.S. Occupational Government is at it again, trading "billboard/advertising space" for private companies & organisations if those companies and/or organisations provide additional funding for Public parks, historical sights, and projects.
Other citizens see this as an opportunity for U.S. Corporations & Organisations who already make money off our our Kingdom's pristine image to finally give directly back to communities in need. City Councilwoman Kymberly Pine says signs--not billboards--would be recognition plaques for those giving the funding. She also insists that all sizes and locations of said signs must be within current regulations, therefore they would be similar to what many already see throughout Hawaiʻi. She continues that this is a huge opportunity to get funding for communities that are in dire need of funds, but that it's also a way for our citizens to unite and pool personal funds to mālama neglected or underserved locations.

Im 22 years old, born and raised here in Hawaiʻi. I dont like to call myself an activist but more of AlohaʻĀina, which really started my freshman year of highschool with Kū i ka Pono, then leading to Protect Mauna Kea, No Dakota Access Pipeline and East Maui water division.
