Hey all, Papa Potato here with an announcement that has been a long time coming.
As some of you may have seen, our Discord server was deleted. This was not an easy choice for me to make, but for the sake of my personal growth and to help me stop dwelling on painful memories, i made the difficult choice to take down our old server. But fret not! we have a new discord server under construction, and hopefully I will see you there!
Tales From the Underdark is expanding its content creation umbrella to include Twitch, Discord, Facebook, X, and TikTok! Most content will be formatted for the platform it will be posted in, but it will all still just be me, your friendly neighbourhood spud, Papa Potato. All of our Social sites will be shared, either at the bottom of this post, or in the pinned comments on TikTok depending on where you are seeing this post.
With that said. In order for this channel to regrow I do need your support as my audience, my viewers, my followers, and as Subscribers. I need y'all to interact with my content, like it, comment on it, share my clips, watch our streams, be active in chats on streams, in discord, or any platform you happen to be supporting us on.
If you are able to support the channel financially, i personally would be grateful for it, but this stream was never supposed to be a primary source of income for me. most of what i will be receiving in this channel is supposed to be a supplementary source of income, and a lot of it is supposed to go back into the stream itself, be it for new equipment, new software, new premium upgrades for the services we use to set up the stream and other community resources, like Streamlabs OBS and MEE6. Any donations you as a community decide to send are welcomed, but not necessary. I still plan on running charity drives through ExtraLife, but that is all largely viewer driven.
I miss this community, a lot, and feel like I let a lot of you down as supporters when i ghosted. I am trying to do better, and that started with me getting into therapy back in October of 2023. I am doing better in that regard, and am happy to announce that come March 5th, i will be 18 month sober of alcohol. A year and a half since my life changed, drastically. While I cannot guarantee a regular schedule right now, eventually, while also still balancing my off stream gaming life, as well as [hopefully] a new job [soon] and my Amtgard and event life that i have gotten used to while living in Washington again, i am hoping to be actively streaming soon. When i go live next, you'll see the posts on all of our social medias.
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, i hope that this channel can Rise and Fight Again, together.
