Coronavirus

Sit in and live out the requiem
A cough should not have had this voice.
I dare think because for now
I can hold onto the tears
The fugue unto the seventh wave.
I hoped for solace in the silence but there was none
And in the music this spine would lift me up
But there is none.
Sure in the cup the water will not match
The canary sings but the men are dead
And where the music but between my fingers
And where the water is between the fingers
It is too late for Jerusalem
Are these angers but auguries
To fu***ng late for words?

The difficulty of making it simple is to lose nothing.
If meaning is an aim how narrow is the shot?
Elbow aside the debris a clear view of what we know.
