Have you seen our latest video on bird flu yet?
H5N1 bird flu is detected in many dairy herds in the US. There has also been a case of a person, who works with cattle, testing positive for the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A(H5N1).

Researchers are alarmed by this development, as the virus has never been detected in ruminants. In this video, Prof Dr van der Poel talks more about the risks of bird flu in cattle and the chance of a worldwide spread.
