Over the weekend I went to the finale of the swindon middle earth strategy battle game league.

Hosted by Atomic Cards it was 3 games of 800 point's.

Awesome day although I only drew one game and lost 2 it was fun to take my list out.

Really need to get it fully painted next time. Thankyou to Dewi Evans, Henry Brittain and Luke Price for some awesome game's.

So i went over to Board in Brum on Sunday to play some MESBG. 550 point's and 4 game's. I took Rohan with Theoden, Dernhelm and Deorwine along with 9 royal guard and 8 rider's of Rohan. I went 1-3 so not my best result but it was a fun day and was great to get some game's in after running my last event.

Thanks go to my opponent's Craig, Edward, Jack and Paul for giving me some awesome game's. Lot's of lesson's learnt for playing my Rohan. I need to be less excited about just changing in, sometimes you just need to sit back and shoot.

Well what a weekend. Two day's of awesome game's with an awesome group of people.

The main reason i keep running these MESBG event's is because of the people who come to them. The stories of heroic deeds and awesome moments from thier game's keeps putting a smile on my face.

I hope to see you all in the future at another event and would love to see you all again.

Heartfelt thankyou to each and every one of you who came to our event today. A thank you has to go to my long suffering wife Law Smith who helps me out with all my event's and keeps me sane during the prep and running of the day.

For now i am going to get some rest and start planning for the next one in August.
