Crisp
8 ripe yellow peaches
¼ cup honey
Juice of 1 large lemon
1 tablespoon arrowroot
🍑
Crumble Topping
1 cup oats
1/2 cup brown rice flour

½ tablespoon brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice the peaches into half-moons and remove the pits. Add peaches to a baking dish and top with ¼ cup honey, squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and arrowroot. Stir until peaches are coated. In a mixing bowl, combine all the topping ingredients. Stir together until a sticky, sand-like mixture forms. Sprinkle the topping over the peaches. Bake for 35 minutes until the topping is golden brown. When the crisp is hot right out of the oven, drizzle the entire baking dish with a tablespoon of honey. On weekends, we brunch — and it's Friday afternoon, which is practically the weekend. Check out this healthy waffle 🧇 recipe we featured in this year's April issue highlighting matcha, a colorful superfood full of antioxidants. Recipe (below👇) + photo courtesy of Sedona-based
Makes: 8 waffles

INGREDIENTS
2½ cups almond flour
1 cup brown rice flour
¼ cup arrowroot
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs (for a vegan version, try 4 tablespoons chia seeds)

1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup maple syrup
1⁄3 cup coconut oil, melted
1½ cups almond milk
1½ cups spinach, packed tightly
3 tablespoons matcha powder

In a bowl, combine almond flour, brown rice flour, arrowroot, and baking soda. Stir well and set aside.

In a Vitamix combine egg or chia, salt, maple syrup, coconut oil, almond milk, spinach, and matcha. Blend well until very creamy.

Pour wet mix into reserved dry mix. Whisk until combined.

Heat waffle iron, then pour in ½ cup (or suggested amount) of batter per waffle maker instructions until cooked.

Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
