No Fishing for now, folks! "Jackstraw Brook Contaminated By A Sewerage Overflow"

A follow-on Code Red message also assures that the public DRINKING WATER IS SAFE. Only the brook and abutting waterways should be avoided.

** Residents ** The Westborough Senior Center will be open until 7pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. Please consider using this resource, as well as the Westborough Public Library, to keep cool. Please pay attention to elderly neighbors and assure that they are okay.

Around 15 short loud bangs just now, one right after another (maybe a second apart) starting around 8:13 PM Sunday night, heard at least from Adams St / Fay Mountain area. Anyone else hear these? Know what these sounds are? This is not the first time such a thing has happened. Signed, Curious.
