I knew this day would come eventually, but.........
God thank You for giving me a one-of-a-kind, wonderful, awesome mom. She was always joyful, loving, kind, caring, warm, understanding, encouraging, patient, gentle, positive, upbeat, forgiving, full of goodness to everybody, and full of faith.
Thank you Mom for telling me about Jesus. Thank you for taking me to church from infancy. Thank you for being a mother who was always present & attentive. Thank you for always being there as a wise counselor, accomplished mentor, steadfast confidant, firm coach, inspiring motivator, gentle nurse, gifted teacher, and very best friend!
Thank you for being the perfect example of faith, goodness, & love. You would always say things like, "You have to love anyway," "If you can't say anything good, then don't say anything at all, "You have to forgive no matter what," "You have to help anyone you can," "You have to always look to Jesus," and many other words full of goodness, faith, hope, and love. You would always tell me what was right whether I wanted to hear it or not. You stayed committed to truth, goodness, hope, faith, & love.
You had absolute faith in Jesus Christ and countless testimonies of miracles, signs, and wonders to prove His faithfulness to you throughout your great life. Also, you trusted completely in God's preservation power. After 7 major strokes, God kept restoring you. Numerous falls, and never a broken bones. You would always say" Jesus is my Physician." Giving birth to Thirteen children, God kept you through it all. God even bless you so all of your children are in the church serving God (one in Heaven). Forty-seven years of a successful marriage. God also blessed you with numerous grands and great-grands, who loved and adored you. God kept you strong and full of faith to the blessed age of 90 years old, surrounded by loving family & friends to the end.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for giving me & my mom this lifetime together on earth. I am eternally grateful.
Thank you Mom for being the perfect example of an amazing mother and a clear reflection of Jesus Christ who lives you in.
You have run your race and finished your course. You kept the faith trusting Jesus Christ to the end. Now a crown of life awaits you.
I know you are walking with Jesus and that it is a great thing, but I still feel your absence. It has only been a little while now, but it already feels like a long time.
I miss you beyond words....
But sleep on now for a little while and get your rest.
I will see you again somewhere around the Throne of God
RIP Evangelist Mother Alfredia Williams.
