The Lambs of Hephzibah House
An audio documentary (75 minutes) that explores the horrific institution of child abuse called Hephzibah House. Beatings, starvation, slave labor, medical r**e, physical, mental, and emotional torture. That is the record of Hephzibah House. Survivors suffer from PTSD, sterility, and a host of other ailments. Children of survivors are often born with birth defects. Yet in spite of repeated pleas for investigation of Hephzibah House, survivors have never been able to persuade authorities in Indiana to examine the history of abuses in that place. And Christian churches continue to support it.
This 5-part audio documentary explores the ways that young women are brought here, held here, abused here, and finally released after they have been “broken,” which is the avowed goal of Ron Williams, the founder of Hephzibah House, who still operates it.
