Issue 9 - Open Call
We invite thinkers, artists, designers, social scientists, musicians, and all who push the boundaries of visual communication to submit abstracts exploring "the absence of data" in visualisation.

We seek diverse perspectives to uncover and examine the voids, gaps, and silences in our data-driven world, challenging assumptions and revealing new insights through innovative visual storytelling.

Push beyond conventional visualisation techniques. Explore creative ways to illustrate the unknown, whether through design, art, sound, or interdisciplinary approaches.
We're looking for transformative narratives and radical ideas that generate new perspectives on how we perceive, interpret, and visualize the absence of information.

Explore topics like black holes in cosmic data, climate change uncertainties, or informational gaps in ongoing conflicts.

Illuminate the shadows that define our data-saturated existence.
