Un-Posed

Un-Posed Un-Posed is a collective of Polish street photographers. Un-Posed was brought to life in 2011.

The collective consists of photographers who specialise in unposed form of documentary also known as street photography. A genre which reveals the symbols and anecdotes hidden in everyday life which generally go unnoticed. The aim of the group is to promote the work of its members and Polish street photography in general, to create a collective body of work, as well as to shape visual awareness of

the public sphere through the medium of photography, workshops, exhibitions and other activities. While each member of has their own individual style, which demonstrates the breadth and depth of the medium, what they all have in common is a love of hard work, patience, the ability to anticipate events by putting themselves in the right place at the right time and an instinctive understanding of when to capture those moments of significance that occur fleetingly in the frame. The members of Un-Posed are:Damian Chrobak, Maciej Dakowicz, Jamie Fyson Howard, Joanna Kinowska, Anne Kłosek, Monika Krzyszkowska, Thomas Kulbowski, Marcin Plonka, Marta Rybicka and Adrian Wykrota. To date, as a collective Un-Posed has been exhibited at the Leica Gallery in Warsaw, Photography Month in Berlin, as well as in the Street Photography Now and Eastreet projects.
