It bums me out to write this post. Next month I'll most likely be shutting down The Static. It was fun while it lasted but with no listeners, there's no point in keeping it going. So unless I get an influx of listeners in the next few weeks it's game over.

Hey friends, wanted to give you an update. Unfortunately my listener base is 0. I'm looking into other avenues to draw in listeners. I'm getting an Instagram page together, I'll post the deets when it's up. Hopefully that'll help gain some traction. If I can't start getting some ears on the station, I'll have to shut it down. I would hate to have to but if no one is listening, it wouldn't be worth it to keep it going. As of now I'll be cutting my weekend broadcast down to Saturday's 3pm to 5pm (CST). Once (and if) my listener base grows I'll go back to my regular hours.

Some of my original toys from back in the late 80's. Sega's Pocket Power and from Milton Bradley, Flipsiders. Both came out in 1988. There were several different Flipsiders games and 3 different series of Pocket Powers. Did you have any of them when you were a kid?
