"You don't need prayers!"
My husband's words cut deeper
than any physical pain I'd ever known.
Imagine this:
👉2020, a pregnancy with no baby
👉 a doctor preparing me for a heartbreaking procedure
👉 I was in agony, physically and emotionally.
All I wanted was my husband's prayers and his spiritual strength.
Instead, he dismissed my faith, the very thing that sustained me.
Every family faces storms.
👉Sickness
👉Money troubles
👉The sting of failure
👉Relationship struggles...
These hardships test us.
That fear and pain can gnaw at our souls.
My story may be unique, but that subtle breaking of hope...
It's happening in homes everywhere.
It's the unspoken disappointments.
The times we fail to be a refuge for each other.
This is what weakens the foundation of a family.
Through my pain, although my husband was there, I felt alone
in that hospital room. But I found solace in fixing my eyes on
Jesus. Not easy answers, but the strength I didn't know I had.
Despite the darkness, here's the truth:
God sees us through.
Prayer does matter and it is powerful.
See, what makes prayer powerful? Not the prayer itself.
But the GOD who is full of grace and mercy
listening to our heart's sincere yearning.
Today, my family isn't perfect.
But hope in God is what carried us through.
Prayer became our bridge in difficult moments.
The reminder that we were never truly alone.
To the family struggling: There is Hope
If your family is hurting, if fear feels overwhelming,
remember this: there's a God who longs to bring healing.
Turn to Him in prayer, even when it feels impossible.
His strength will become your own.
P.S.
Happy to share that my husband has
changed into a man of prayer by God's grace! :)
