Our Story
Having been bringing the best of electronic music to Pompey for over twelve years now, Love Amplified has cemented itself as one of the go to parties on the south coast of England and earned a reputation as Portsmouth's number one source of quality house music.
Beginning its journey in a small bar in Southsea back in 2007, Love Amplified has become known as a brand that is all about the music. Although their emphasis has always been on house music, they refuse to let their sound be pigeon holed, instead letting music that sounds good dictate the vibe, regardless of genre.
Love Amplified quickly grew and found it’s spiritual home in the city’s Glashaus, turing any other suitable space they could find in the city into a one off party location along the way. During their journey so far, they have brought some of the industries best know artists to their parties, with names like MK, Adam Beyer, Julio Bashmore, Carl Craig, Sonny Fodera, Bondax, Sam Divine, Pete Tong, Groove Armada, Hot Since 82, Kerri Chandler, Idris Elba, Green Velvet, Danny Howard, Shadow Child and Todd Terry regularly taking to the decks.
As well as international talent, Love Amplified residents Soul Divide and Oliver Knight have quickly established themselves as the region’s hottest performers. With the brand also constantly trying to give local emerging talent the platform to launch their own musical careers, both at their parties and on their Amplified Records label.
With the motto “Life is to love & listen”, Love Amplified is known for providing clubbers with a carefree and welcoming atmosphere, this has seen the brand’s popularity grow beyond Portsmouth, with Love Amplified events having already taken place in some of the south of England’s best know venues!
2019 sees Love Amplified venture even further afield and take their brand on the road. Their first stop is Ibiza where they will take over the one and only Benimussa Park for an open air fieste under the Balearic sun for an exclusive date in July. Later in the year, you’ll also be able to sample the Love Amplified atmosphere with dates at the Gorilla Manchester, The Steel Yard, London, 103 Take over at Ministry of Sound, Secret London rooftop parties and, of course, all of their usual day parties in Glashaus!
