8 Acre Films We make films because we love it. We work on a low to zero budget and make films with amateur actors and crew from the local community.

8 Acre Films have been around for two years and have made over twenty short films, all available for viewing on youtube.com/8acrefilms. We do it purely for our love of cinema.

The 8 Acre Films Story

8 Acre Films was started by a group of friends wanting to learn the art of filmmaking by doing just that...filmmaking. Since 2011 we have produced over 25 short films and sketches, collaborating with talent, professional or otherwise.

As time went on we started to build our own sets and props, getting ever more ambitious with every project including using old school miniature effects. The only limit being our own imagination, always working from the mind set “decide to do it and figure out how later”
