Shamrock is an approximately 9-10 month old female Labrador mix. She is very sweet and enjoys playing with her best buddy Drako ( who also happens to be available for adoption as well) and running and being outdoors.. Shamrock is fully vetted, Heartworm negative and spayed. Since she is still under a year old she is considered a young pup and would need a home with a fenced yard and an active family to take her running, hiking, swimming and help her with outlets for her energy so she can become her best self. Come meet Shamrock through Stewart County Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, 931-627-1459, https://www.facebook.com/scffar2010/

Turvy is a darling 3-year-old mixed breed. She is fully vetted, spayed and has just the best personality. She is house trained and has her most favorite stuffed baby that she carries with her everywhere and will come with her to her new home. Turvy is looking for a home where she can be spoiled and showered with love and attention. If you are looking for that special pup please reach out to Lisa at Sagley’s Biker Bully Farm, (785) 207-5641 or https://www.facebook.com/SBBF.Rescue Just a note here: Unfortunately a shelter in Fayetteville TN will be shutting down and Lisa and her group will be receiving quite a lot of new dogs to her rescue over the next several weeks. We will be helping her by spotlighting as many as we can here to help them find their forever families. So stay tuned!! Thank you!

Hot Rod’s Garage Senior Sanctuary
Molly is a female senior Labrador/Shepherd mix. Molly and her best friend Catie were raised together until their owner sadly passed and they were taken in by the shelter. Both girls are loyal, fun loving, and love to play even as senior gals but then enjoy coming inside and relaxing. They are both spayed, fully vetted, house trained and good with other dogs, cats and kids. The girls are somewhat bonded but can possibly be separated into the right family. If you're looking for easy going, loving dogs then either Molly or Catie ( or both together) would make an awesome addition to a lucky family. Drako is a smart, silly, VERY energetic Bull terrier mix. He is about a year and half old, fully vetted, neutered and housetrained. This sweet boy needs a person who will not hesitate to set boundaries and also help him channel his energy with plenty of exercise, running, hiking, even swimming. A tired dog is a happy dog. He does well with certain dogs, his best friend is Shamrock who is also up for adoption, but his energy levels are sometimes too much for other dogs. He would do well with another balanced, energetic dog to help him continue to learn and be the best version of himself! Come meet Drako through Stewart County Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, 931-627-1459, https://www.facebook.com/scffar2010/

Inky was brought to Lisa and her team by the wonderful Sheriff's department who found this sweet 6 month old Lab pup in the middle of the road after being hit by a car. Amazingly he is a survivor and is currently under the vets care for a concussion and fractured Orbital bone. He is so loving and sweet but he is on bed rest now as he heals but is available for pre adoption. If anyone is looking for a wonderful pup ( who will make a full recovery) please reach out to Lisa at Sagley’s Biker Bully Farm, (785) 207-5641 or https://www.facebook.com/SBBF.Rescue Just a note here: Unfortunately a shelter in Fayetteville TN will be shutting down and Lisa and her group will be receiving quite a lot of new dogs to her rescue over the next several weeks. Mesquite is a beautiful senior (11 years old) Great Pryenese/BorderCollie mix. She came into rescue through no fault of her own after the passing of her owner. She is very sweet, spayed, current on vaccinations but unfortunately she is Heartworm Positive. The rescue will supply the medication for 30 days and then she will go on HW prevention. Mesquite was very patient during her bath/brush out and seemed timid and unsure at first but with patience and love will warm up to her people. Unsure of housetraining as these dogs are usually Livestock Guardians but she seems so willing to please she will probably pick up training very quickly. Please don’t be deterred by age, senior dogs still have a lot of life left and more love than you can imagine. Come meet Mesquite through Stewart County Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, 931-627-1459, https://www.facebook.com/scffar2010/

Jesse James is a male Beagle. He is in rescue along with his partner, Doc Holiday who also happens to be a Beagle! Jesse is friendly, affectionate, smart, curious and athletic. He is fully vetted and neutered. This guy is very outgoing and loves running the yard, chasing squirrels and playing with friendly dogs. His buddy Doc Holiday is the quieter one of the two but is just as loving and friendly. Jesse does not bark or bay as most hunting dogs would and he would make a great hiking partner. “Chocolatier” Pups! Nice mixture of Chocolate Labrador and PitBull Terrier (hence Chocolatier) babies, we have Boo-Boo (pictured) and Chloe. These girls are 3 months old, vetted, dewormed, shots are age appropriate and working on leash training and crate training. They are practically identical except for their noses which is how they are identified! Boo-Boo is the more energetic of the 2 and loves to run and play. She does take a bit to warm up to other dogs but is unsure about cats. She loves kids, does settle nicely and could do fine in a smaller home, but a nice yard or frequent trips to the parks to run off their energy would be ideal. Chloe is a bit more mellow of the 2 girls, loves to lay on her bed, play with toys and is good with other dogs and children. They can be adopted together or separately. To meet these girls please reach out to Lisa at Sagley’s Biker Bully Farm, (785) 207-5641 or https://www.facebook.com/SBBF.Rescue

Sassy is a senior American Staffordshire Terrier. She is fully vetted, spayed and house trained. Sassy is friendly, affectionate, gentle, loves giving kisses and snuggling on the couch with her people. She does need a cat free home. Sassy also prefers a home without young children as she does tend to herd them and the excitement is too much for her. She would love to be the only dog where she can get all the attention. She does well on walks and enjoys being with her family. Call 931-801-1907 or email [email protected] https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1GwXSlg0hKDKniRHmrTkHuRwGG9s-3GQ8Ke1Ftdg-F-Q/edit?usp=sharing

Stewart County welcomes The Big Dog Spa.

Do you have a large dog, a breed that many groomers won’t touch or a pup with high anxiety? These are the types of dogs that The Big Dog Spa caters to. Of course, they will groom any breed, however they specialize in those dogs that are often turned away elsewhere.
Owner Morgan Gunn has been grooming for nearly a decade and with the time has some stories to tell. “There's been cases of rescue pets that were severely matted and needed a fresh start. Our groomer was able to help and build a lasting relationship that allowed the pet to gain more confidence in itself and the grooming experience. We have taken care of pets that are on the breed restrictions list, that have high anxiety, and given them a spa day that they will want to come back to.”
When asked about something that she has learned since starting the new business, Gunn said “Our biggest shock since starting is the abundance of large breed dogs that were in need of this service.”
Morgan has always dreamed of opening her own grooming business in the area she was raised, “I grew up in the middle Tennessee area throughout my childhood. My family still resides in Stewart County. I grew up surrounded by bully breeds always being a part of my life and have come accustomed to taking care of them when no one else would.”
When choosing the location for The Big Dog Spa, Gunn has partnered with Sagley's Biker Bully Farm, in Indian Mound.
“Stewart County has limited availability for grooming appointments for those that do not wish to travel further distances. We hope that our location can bring some ease into finding something suitable for those in the area. It is also hard to find groomers that will or can work with dogs with high anxiety, bigger dogs, and those that fall under the "bully breed" classification. We want to help change the stigma these pets are seen in, and give them somewhere they feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved.”
Due to the vast difference in each pet and breed, prices are based on services needed per pet.
If you are interested in taking your furry family member to The Big Dog Spa for some pampering, to include a blueberry spa package or the de-shedding service, you can book an appointment by going to their page, https://www.facebook.com/TheBigDogSpa, emailing them at [email protected] or via phone at (931) 305-0070.
Business hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and select Saturday appointments.

Drako is still looking for his forever home. This wonderful guy is just a young bundle of energy and love. He is fully vetted, neutered, house trained, knows basic commands and needs to be the only dog. He also needs a cat free home. With all his energy he might be too much for small children so older, respectful children should be fine. Drako needs a home where he has a strong leader not afraid to set boundaries and outlets to burn off that energy. Hiking, jogging, swimming and even long walks will help. Once his energy is gone he settles down nicely inside. A fenced yard will also be perfect to help him run off that energy. Come meet Drako through Stewart County Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, 931-627-1459, https://www.facebook.com/scffar2010/

Ragnar is just the sweetest Pyrenees little ( for now anyway) guy! 3 months old, 2nd round of vaccinations and deworming. He is available with his brother Uther. They look almost identical!. These babies had a bit of a rough start and are shy at first so a family with lots of love and patience will be ideal. They love toys and are slowly learning to trust people. Knowledge of the breed is desirable. These boys can be adopted separately or together! Pyrenees are LGD ( Livestock Guarding Dogs) and have a strong sense of protecting what’s theirs. A family willing to work with them and not be afraid to set strong boundaries will be great. They will be big boys. They both will love any outdoor activities and a fenced yard with room to run and play would be ideal. If you want to meet Ragnar and Uther please reach out to Lisa at Sagley’s Biker Bully Farm, (785) 207-5641 or https://www.facebook.com/SBBF.Rescue

Check out the new service the Stewart County Prevention Coalition will be providing.
Mobile Drug Take Back, if you are unable to get to the Drug Take Back events, someone can come to you to pick up any unused or unwanted medications for proper disposal.
Please see information below on how to take advantage of this new, wonderful service.

Good Morning-
I was speaking to the sheriff this morning about an idea one of our members came up with and he has agreed to put it in to place.

As many of you know, our drug take back will be on April 30th this year at both pharmacies. We will have officers and coalition members on hand to accept your meds and supply you with a lock box if you need one at no charge to you.

This year we are going to try to reach everyone we possibly can.

Therefore, we will begin a "mobile take back" if you or someone you know is shut in or lacks transportation we will be sending someone to their residence to pick up any medications (prescription or over the counter) that they need to dispose of.

All they need to do is either send me a message on here, text me on my phone (931-249-3501) or call that same number and leave a message with Name, Address and Phone Number. We prefer the person to sign up themselves, but if they can't and someone else does the calling, we would like for you to be there when we stop by.

I am excited to offer this opportunity!

Sagley’s Biker Bully Farm
