We are an independent group of thinkers who encourage an exchange of ideas in an open forum. We aim to be the place where opposing views can come together, have a seat at the table and engage in open, honest and healthy debate about making America competitive again, through better education. Times of Texas has no political agenda, and is not affiliated with any political party or ideology. Its pur
pose is to increase public awareness and participation, leading to greater accountability and action by Texas leaders. We certainly do have our own independent opinion, which we will of course post from time to time as well. Texas can lead in addressing the national crisis of rising costs, low graduation rates and crushing student debt. When all Texans understand how improved education can lead to economic growth and prosperity for coming generations, they will demand solutions that reward our best teachers, identify and reward excellence in teaching and research, eliminate waste, and produce a more affordable and higher quality education. Our parents, students, taxpayers, university administrators and alumni want to be involved, so come with an open mind and passion for your position. When all Texans understand how improved education can lead to economic growth and prosperity for coming generations, they will demand changes that reward our best teachers, identify and reward excellence in teaching and research, eliminate waste, and produce a more affordable and higher quality education. Parents, students and taxpayers want action, and our initiative is spreading across the nation. It’s time for Texas. It’s time for our nation. General Inquiries/Advertising:
