The representatives of Rajampet Annamayya Press Club requested the Union Minister to provide railway pass facility to journalists
The representatives of Rajampet Annamayya Press Club submitted a petition to Union Information Minister Dev Singh Chouhan in Tirupati on Sunday seeking to grant railway pass to print & electronic media journalists in the state. Responding positively, the minister took it to the attention of the government and promised to grant railway passes to the journalists.
He appealed to accredited journalists to renew their railway passes. The minister brought to the attention of the journalists that the railway passes which were canceled during the covid period have not been restored so far and journalists are not getting this facility. He asked that this one scheme given to the journalists by the central government should be restored immediately.
Rajampet journalists Gundrathi Vijay Kumar, Gadi Ashok Kumar Reddy, Kuraku Srinivasulu, Palempalle Karthik, Bandathammur Sudarshan Sharma and Bidham Venkata Subbarao participated.
