Looking to expand your reach on Instagram?

REELS REELS REELS!

This is an account I made for my hiking recently, and my reels get wayyy more reach than my normal posts do!

Do some research, see what is trending, and make it work with your niche!

Don’t worry if your insights show a lack of interaction once you start posting reels- Instagram doesn’t add reels to your insights (similar to stories).

Use all 30 hashtags too, add a catchy song, and watch your reach expand!

When posting in your stories- create Polls and Quizzes! These are awesome ways to not only help your audience engage, but also to get an idea of what they might be thinking!

These Polls and Quizzes don’t require a ton of effort from the audience member. They are easy to answer with the click of a button.

In other words, your audience feels valued and you get answers to your questions! Win win! 🎉

Happy April 1st! Let’s talk organization! And no- I’m not fooling you when I tell you how important it is!

⭐️ Try to have content planned out in advanced. There is nothing more frustrating that trying to create fresh content every day on the fly!

⭐️ Get a planner. You can find both digital and paper planners. I find these handy because they typically show you the holidays- and it is always nice to know when those are! Plus it gives you the ability to look weeks ahead.

⭐️ Don’t procrastinate!! Easier said than done- but you should practice now! Take the time each day to make sure you are getting stuff done. Even if it is only for a few minutes. Small steps are better than none!

⭐️ Write things down! I’m at fault for not doing this- I have wayyy too much trust in my memory😜 you can’t expect to remember everything- so don’t! Write down thoughts as they come to you!

No matter what industry you work in, you are bound to run across some challenges!

Here are some of mine that I work hard to overcome:

Creating new, fresh content for each page I manage. This is a time-consuming process, but it is always worth it.

Lacking resources. I am by no means rich, and there are some really cool tools out there that I would LOVE to utilize to their full extent. But, understandably, free only gets you so far.

Switching tones! To avoid this, I try to work on one business at a time. I bulk create for one business and I do not touch another until I can make time for a quick mental break.

Keeping up with social media. These platforms are continuously changing, and sometimes it feels like once you have learned everything about a platform, boom, it suddenly changes, AGAIN. To overcome this, it just takes being in the know and constantly learning.

Facebook groups are saturated with useful information for your business. ⁠⁠

Joining them is rather simple too:⁠⁠
All you have to do is Facebook search a category related to your business and search the groups! ⁠⁠
⁠
You may have to answer a few questions to join some of them, but they take less than a few minutes to answer. ❓⁠
⁠⁠
Facebook groups can also be a community of people with similar businesses as you! They can answer questions you may have and support you along your journey.

Working from home and getting things done can be difficult- so I compiled some tips that I use to stay on task

1) Turn off the notifications on your phone. If you are anything like me, opening your phone to check one notification can turn into you checking EVERYTHING. Don't get stuck down the wormhole.

2) Make a list of tasks ranked from most important to least important. There is nothing more satisfactory than crossing off the items on a list! Plus, it makes everything you have to do seem less daunting.

3) Take breaks! No one is going to give you a medal for pushing on. Give yourself time to breathe and come back revived and fresh!

Hello Personalized desktop!!

I don't know about you... but I HATE having multiple applications open for organizing my work. So I went ahead and fixed that problem!

It is so nice to open my computer and know EXACTLY what needs to be done. I also personalized each month with a photo I love and an inspiring quote. March is going to be a good one!

⚠️ Do not put all your marketing efforts into one social platform!

You don’t know if it will still be here tomorrow or next week! Your audience could also shift focus from one platform to another.

Think about MySpace. It used to be “the place” to have an online presence. Then Facebook came around and MySpace is no longer here.

Try to be on the main platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter... but also be on the lookout for new social platforms, such as TikTok!

We all have some tools that we simply need to be able to work efficiently. Here are mine-⁠⁠

📱My phone. I do SO MUCH from my phone! I can get in touch with clients, edit content, post, update websites, research, so on and so forth. I think the only time I don't have it on me is when I am sleeping!⁠⁠
⁠⁠
💻My laptop! I type so much faster on my laptop, and it definitely helps to see things on a larger screen every once in a while. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
📓A journal. I remember things so much better when I actually write them down. So I carry something to write my notes it. You never know when creativity will hit!⁠⁠

☕️Coffe. Because no work worth doing is done without caffeine!⁠⁠

Let me start by saying, I LOVE Canva! 😍 It is a 💰FREE💰 design device available to you! You can create stylish and cohesive content in minutes! ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Even though I am a designer, I find the adobe suite to be a burden on my wallet. With Canva, you can upload your own photos and pick from a vast variety of text to create your content. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Canva also saves all your designs! So if you need to go back and edit one, or if your post did well and you want to republish it, they all get saved in one spot!⁠⠀
