In a letter to a suffering saint, Samuel Rutherford penned this:

‘[W]hen you are come to the other side of the water, and have set down your foot on the shore of glorious eternity, and look back again to the waters and to your wearisome journey, and see in that clear glass of endless glory, nearer to the bottom of God’s wisdom, you shall then be forced to say, “If God had done otherwise with me than He has done, I would have never come to the enjoying of this crown of glory.”’

God is simple.
God is Trinity.
God is simply Trinity

The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten.
The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created, but begotten.
The Holy Spirit is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding.
So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three Sons; one Holy Spirit, not three Holy Spirits.
And in this Trinity none is afore, or after another; none is greater, or less than another.
But the whole three persons are co-eternal, and co-equal.

The Christian God of the Bible is simply Trinity.

That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity;
neither confounding the persons, nor dividing the substance.
For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.
But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is all one, the glory equal, the majesty co-eternal.

We think it would be a great companion to family worship with young children, a creative gift to an adopting family, or even just for a way to express historic truths from confessions and creeds in a beautifully illustrated Alphabet book.

We recommend you take a peek!

Adoption is a wonderful picture of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Believers have been adopted as God's children, as co-heirs with Christ, sharing in His life, death, burial, and resurrection. This alphabet book attempts to show children the beauty of the gospel and how it's reflected in earthly adoptio...
