We play all types of music from all different time periods. The most important thing is we play albums; this means a collection of songs released on one disk that we feel represents a cohesive piece of artwork that needs appreciation as a whole. Today, the album has lost some respect. There were

always those artists who released an album intending to get a single or two on the radio without giving much thought to the it as a whole, but this has gotten increasingly worse as Itunes took over. Now people buy select songs, or receive track from playlists that have no reference point whatsoever to their original context. Our mission: bringing back the habit of listening to albums all the way through, the way they should be appreciated. Plus we hope to educate ourselves and our listeners on the importance of that album. This means what previous artists and albums influenced it, and what impact did it have on music after it.
