A new study has found that eating more than one egg per week may reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease by an astonishing 47%. Eggs are packed with nutrients like choline, lutein, and essential vitamins that support brain health and cognitive function.

Choline, in particular, is vital for memory and nerve communication. Adequate intake has been linked to improved brain performance and reduced neurodegenerative risks. This discovery highlights that simple dietary choices, like including eggs in your weekly meals, can have a meaningful impact on long-term brain health.

While eggs are just one piece of the puzzle, combining them with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and mental stimulation may further protect against cognitive decline. For those looking to support their memory and overall brain function, this research provides a delicious and easy way to boost neurological resilience...

Around 1900 in Henning, Tennessee, a family portrait was taken that spoke louder than words.
It showed Jim Turner, born into Southern privilege, standing with Carrie, his wife is a Black schoolteacher.

When such marriages drew hostility and real danger, they chose visibility.
They raised children.Their sons George, William, and Hardin embraced both heritages with pride.
Hardin later became a doctor, carrying the story forward.

This was more than a photograph. It was defiance captured on paper. In the Jim Crow South, where intimidation shadowed in*******al families, the Turners stood firm in their choice. They embraced dignity over fear.Love over silence. And they taught their children to walk upright in a world that urged them to shrink.

History isn’t only made in courts or wars.
It is built in quiet choices persistent, ordinary choices to hold fast and endure.

This is what courage feels like.
This is what legacy becomes.

Hours after I delivered my baby, a mysterious nurse entered the maternity ward. She was tall and plumpy with a nose mask that covered a greater part of her face.

My husband had gone to pick something from home, my sister on the other hand
had gone to look for what to eat. She hasn't eaten anything all evening. The nurses who had attended to me were nowhere to be found either. So I was alone. My bundle of joy was sleeping peacefully in a cot close to my bed.

I was trying to catch some sleep too when this nurse walked in. The first thing that arose my suspicion about her was the way she was moving…like she doesn't want to be noticed. Definitely she thought I was sleeping.

And again, the three nurses that attended to me were slender. I remember that so well. I had overhead my husband when he jokingly asked them if they were siblings. Joy Ifunanya Chukwukeluba

But this one is rather plumpy, taller and..

Who is she? I wondered as I watched her crept towards my baby's cot, bent over and quietly lifted the infant. Next, she turned and started creeping back to the exit. That was when I snapped my eyes open and sprang up.

Although she tried to hide it, I saw the way her body trembled when she noticed I was awake.

“Where are you taking my baby to?”. I asked, my heart beating fast.

She chuckled.

“Hmm, the baby. He…she..we…we want... We need to take her weight. I mean his weight”. She sluttered.

At this point, I was convinced something was off. Cuz I could remember vividly when one of the other nurses had taken baby to a section of the ward were her weight was taken.

“Give me my baby!”. I demanded,
struggling to get down from the bed.

She hesitantly walked over, dropped the baby in my arms and hurried out without another word…

But unfortunately for her, she bumped into my sister in the doorway, causing my sister's food to spill.

“Hold that nurse! She is a thi£f!”. I screamed.

My smart sister☺️☺️ She didn't wait for any explanation. She grabbed the nurse on the waist. I continued screaming and calling out for help as the two struggled. Soon after, the rest of the staff arrived and my sister handed her over.

My dear people, could you believe that when the mask was removed, it was discovered that the lady was neither a nurse nor a staff member in the city hospital.

Now guess who was behind it😲

This is a DIK-DIK — One of the Smallest Antelopes on Earth!

Native to eastern and southern Africa, the Dik-Dik is one of the smallest antelopes in the world, standing only about 30–40 cm tall.

With big eyes, a pointed nose, and delicate legs, it looks like a creature straight out of a fairytale.

✨ Fun Fact: Dik-diks often live in lifelong pairs and use their elongated noses to help regulate body temperature in the hot savannas!

JUST IN: Ex-Abia Governor Okezie Ikpeazu Sentenced to Death by Hanging Over ₦1 Trillion Fraud

In a ruling that has shaken the nation, the Abia State High Court has sentenced former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to death by hanging after investigators uncovered ₦1 trillion stashed in a secret foreign account in Australia.

The funds, originally meant for the Abia International Airport project and a light rail system, were allegedly diverted. Prosecutors revealed that what could have transformed the state was instead hidden abroad.

Delivering judgment, Justice Chukwuemeka Nwogu declared:

“The evidence before this court is overwhelming. This was not just theft, it was betrayal of millions of Abians who were denied progress and hope. Such crimes against humanity must carry the highest penalty.”

He further noted that with ₦1 trillion, Abia State could have had two airports, a modern rail system, and stable electricity, but instead was left in decay.

The courtroom went silent as the sentence was read, with gasps and mixed reactions from observers. Outside, some residents hailed the ruling as historic justice, while others expressed shock at both the scale of the fraud and the severity of the punishment.

Authorities confirmed that Ikpeazu remains under heavy security as preparations for the ex*****on and fund repatriation move forward.
