من المهم التأكيد على ان العسل هو غذاء طبيعي كباقي الأغذية في الطبيعية التي من حولنا لكنه يتميز بالقدرة العلاجية التي زادت من قيمته ....
يستهلك معظم العسل عالمياً على شكل عسل مائدة , أما في الولايات المتحدة فإن نصف الإنتاج تقريباً يدخل في صناعة المخبوزات , و يمكن القول ان 95-97% من إنتاج العسل العالمي يتم استهلاكه في هذين المجالين .

هناك جدول لتناول العسل يوصى به اعتماداً على وقت تناول العسل و وزن الجسم باحدى الطرق الثلاث وعلى النحو التالي :

تناول 1 غم من العسل لكل 1 كغم من وزن الجسم قبل ساعة من الجهد الرياضي

تناول 0,5 غم من العسل لكل 1كغم قبل 10 دقائق قبل الجهد الرياضي .

تناول 30 – 60 غم من العسل خلال كل ساعة من الجهد الرياضي .

Majete Wildlife Reserve in Malawi is a living beacon of hope. It is a park revived from an empty forest just fifteen years ago, which now thrums with life while delivering significant benefits to thousands of people living around its boundaries. Community development forms part of African Parks’ bedrock, and since assuming management of Majete in partnership with Malawi’s Government in 2003 the reserve has supported communities in numerous ways, ranging from income-generating activities to public health programmes. In 2018, we rolled out a bee-keeping project, ‘Honey with Heart’, through which more than 200 beekeepers received training and over 600 beehives were distributed. Other community projects and income-generating activities in the reserve resulted in $31,000 in 2018 which goes back into the communities and the continued advancement of their projects. With education being the keystone to a prosperous future for people and wildlife, the reserve also supported over 100 students through its scholarship programme. Majete is a tale of a park having risen from a wasteland, becoming a productive wild landscape serving as a life-source for wildlife and humans alike.

Today, Ofer Military Court extended Hafez Omar’s detention until Tuesday, April 16. He continues to be detained without charge. We uplift Hafez’s case in the context of the ongoing hunger strike, today in its fourth day. Before his arrest, Hafez was committed and vocal on prisoners’ rights, particularly during hunger strikes. We call on supporters to amplify the hunger strike and support the prisoners as they fight for their dignity.
