For those that didn't see yesterday's De La Soul announcement, they basically confirmed their back catalogue will soon be available on all streaming sites, hopefully by November, and are working hard with new partners Reservoir Media who bought out the entire Tommy Boy Records back catalogue earlier in the year, they also said they are working on a Pete Rock/Premo project, they also thanked all their fans for all the support shown throughout the ordeal. All 3 were in great spirits and seemed excited by the future of the group.

Happy Birthday to our good friend Mr. Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12, 1940) is an American pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, composer, and actor. Hancock started his career with Donald Byrd. He shortly thereafter joined the Miles Davis Quintet, where he helped to redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section and was one of the primary architects of the post-bop sound. In the 1970s, Hancock experimented with jazz fusion, funk, and electro styles.
