Celebrated the 7th anniversary of our Tulum wedding at no other than for all the coastal Mexican food deliciousness 🍍🌶️🐠!

They have an incredible happy hour M-Th 5-6PM and F-Sun 3-5PM and we just ordered one of almost everything for a yummy dinner at a great price!

Start off with the Tropical marg 🍹, devour the Guac 🥑, Machaca de Atun 🐟, Cevichito (the ultimate dish) 🐠, Fried Shimp Tostada 🍤 and DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT SAVING ROOM for the Pastel de Elote 🍮. You can thank me later!

The swankiest of cocktail and canapé lounges is now open and sheesh are you in for a treat! 🍸

You’ll find nestled in a historical building off W. 10th with jawdropping decor, vibes on vibes, and plenty of moody rooms to enjoy a drink or canapés with your boo or friends!

If you’re looking to enjoy a meal there, order one of everything on the menu and share with your date!

Start off with the strawberry + coconut cocktail - it was well executed and perfect for the summer 🍓

Must order canapés:
🐠 Citrus cured hamachi - the way the avocado puree was piped on these cuties was just 👌🏽
🍞 Chawanmushi Toast - usually don’t eat uni but this toast was exceptional!
🧀 Masa Gougères - I’ll never say no to a gougères of any kind
🐓 Chicken Nuggets - farrrrr from basic! That whipped dill crème fraiche though - didn’t leave even a drop behind!

📣 Now, in all honesty, this is a pricey spot - meant for an occasion. Or at least that’s what I’d reserve it for. And the bites are small so know you’ll drop a pretty penny for a meal. But, there isn’t another experience like this in Austin so for the culinary precision, taste, experience, cocktails, vibes, it’s worth it! My opinion…so there!

W O W, this poke left me speechless!

It’s warm outside and instantly, I’ve started craving all the poke and well, not only satisfies the craving, but also is the best poke I’ve had in town!

I made my own bowl with salmon, spicy tuna, spicy ponzu, crispy garlic, pickled red onion, 🥒, brown rice and mixed greens, and 🥑 and my tummy was so happy!

Can’t wait to try more! Oh, and the portion was huge and well worth the $15! I saw you can get NACHOS as your base! They have two trucks - 📍 one on E. Cesar Chavez and one south - so you have zero excuses not to give them a try!

Got my hands on the viral ℂ𝕠𝕠𝕜𝕚𝕖 ℂ𝕣𝕠𝕚𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕟𝕥 and you need to as well!

Search no further! You can get the viral cookie 🍪 croissant 🥐 while supplies last!

The cookie and the croissant are stand outs on their own and then you combine the two and HOLY WOW, does it again 🤌🏽 Zoom in and 👀 the glitter on the CROOKIE!

Go get you one or two as well as other favorites of mine - the ham and cheese croissant, their special cinnamon stuffed croissant, the macarons, anything really!

🎂 Birthday week celebrations 🎂

What better place to kick off my birthday celebrations than at the absolutely adorable !

The Burger Royale 🍔 with frites 🍟, a glass of rosé, and a pistachio financier with crème fraiche was the perfect meal!

Have you been yet? I’m taking my hubs next time and we will stop by to flip through some books, then walk the aisles of and find all kinds of specialty goodies, and finish with moules frites and a glass of wine on an epic date night!

Happy Love Day 💞💚❤️🧡💛🩷💙💜🩵💞

Dropped in to (newly rebranded from the previous Mi Mundo space on MLK) and she cute! It’s perfect for grabbing a delicious coffee drink and a cookie and enjoying on their patio or taking with you!

I highly recommend a strawberry rose matcha 🍓🌹🍵 like I’m drinking here. It pairs perfectly with a shortbread cookie, or any of their house made cookies (gluten free and vegan options available).

Self care is the best kind of love, so go visit them and treat yourself to a drink and a cookie today! ❤️

Kicked off the new year with a double date and had this jaw-dropping meal - drool while swiping through pics 👉🏽

What we drank and ate:
🍹 Rosa Peligrosa - this mezcal girlie loved it
🥑 Guacamole - yummo
🐠 Tuna Tiradito - the burnt habanero apple broth y’all. NO WORDS!
🍄 Tlayuda de Hongos - wish there were more mushrooms but this was good!
🥬 Seared Cabbage - Moroccan flavors and I’d eat this every dang day
🥦 Broccoli - these were far from basic - those peppers with the broccoli packed some heat 🔥
🍠 Sweet Potatoes - lick up all the habenero garlic aioli on the bottom!
🌮 Suadero Tacos - a bit drier than usual but still good! That brisket 🤌🏽

I highly recommend ordering:

~ spring roll moussaka with phyllo

I survived Day 1 of and ate more superb bites than I can even count, tried some incredible wines, met so many talented chefs, and ran into tons of friends! It was very warm in the sun, shade was hard to come by, but brought the heat and kept us dancing the afternoon away! Peep my stories for highlights from yesterday!

Pro-tips for day 2: wear sneakers, hydrate a ton before the fest, pace yourself, get all the food early on, try wine after eating since that isn’t running out but food does!

🍳 The Barbacha Chilaquiles Bowl requires its own feature! 🍳

is my favorite barbacoa everything truck and this chilaquiles is no exception! Tender barbacoa, beans, avocado, tomatillo salsa, perfectly fried egg - this is the brunch dish you NEED any time of the day!

Stop on by their new home off Manor Rd. in the most magical space on the East Side right next door to new truck! Everything about the and pairing is what dreams are made of!

Classic Mexican Food Vibes —

never disappoints! Went with some girlfriends and we started with Lupita Margs 🍹 (watermelon), Ceviche 🍤, and I devoured the Tinga de Pollo Quesadillas. Let me tell you, a solid friend date over Mexican food and margs with lots of belly aching laughs will make any day better! ❤️

Get there early, grab a table inside or out, and enjoy!

Catch me eating sushi all summer long 🍣!

Yes, it took me entirely too long to check out but I’m adding into the rotation for sushi-eating all summer long!

Nothing better than a crudo of fish and melon, shrimp stuffed basil leaf tempura 🍤, fatty salmon and scallop sashimi, yellowtail scallion rolls 🍣 and tempura shrimp rolls. And don’t forget about the Kakigori! This one came with coconut ice cream, strawberry, blackberry and yuzu coconut 🍧!

𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝒫𝒽𝑜𝓉𝑜 𝒟𝓊𝓂𝓅 from an incredible weekend with my best friend/sister from another mister!

We hit up a bunch of my favorite spots around town and while there aren’t enough hours or days in a 4-day visit to go to every favorite of mine, we did good!

🌮 for fried bean and cheese quesadillas and margs (not pictured but definitely devoured)
🍝 of course because she’s heard me talk about them for 2 years! Fusili was out of this world!
🌸 for nature and plant vibes - gonna miss them! They close 6/30.
🥪 for the Club poboy from heaven and gumbo!
🐟 for Tuna Tiradito and all the ceviche!
🥯 to check out their new brunch menu
🍕 for some of my favorite ‘za in town!
🍣 for the best omakase experience in town imo
🍵 for prickly pear matcha lemonades, of course, and a chocolate caramel 🍩!

MUST TRY 🔥 casual spot for New Orleans style cooking and vibes!

Not my first time and def not my last! Say hello to this Cheeseburger 🍔 - usually available 3pm and later but they’re trying to see if they can crank them out during the lunch rush too. Lucky for us, we were able to get our hands on one at lunch and YOU NEED THIS BURGER right now!

Also, I love their shrimp 🍤 poboy so much scroll 👉🏽 for a pic. The poboy bread, the big crispy shrimp, the right balance of lettuce, tomatoes, Mayo - - really makes this a solid choice if you’re on the hunt for classic NOLA-style poboys!

So when you going to visit? Maybe I’ll see ya there ⚜️

Take me back for the most incredible French toast I’ve ever had!

Brunch is full of yummy options but the Pecan Praline French Toast has to be on your plate and in your mouth as soon as possible! It’s thicccccc and a heavenly texture and I guarantee it’ll convert you to a French toast fan if you aren’t one already!
